@@abramwalker882, Budokai probably interests people who liked the close quarters fighting that had pretty neat combos and special moves that were not as detailed until you get to using an ultimate. Tenkaichi (at least tenkaichi 3 in my case) was more of fighting at different distances that had the more casual population using a lot more super moves than actual fighting. There are pretty cool combos, but budokai probably had more complex ones that you had to learn on your own. Tenkaichi had cool mechanics too for those who liked it, but I liked the game for its nice animations, big roster, and cool fast pace fighting with interesting not combo based mechanics like throwing people from off the ground and rush special moves. I cannot speak for everyone and certainly not speak 100% facts, but those are most of the things I notice between the two games that differ a lot.

The models are AMAZING and fit well with the actual tenkaichi models 😍 The Caulifla model looks MUCH better than the previous beta version. Only thing I would change is Hits animations they look a bit awkward.

Well this is a 1st, I always see budokai tenkaichi 4 videos with the voices always modded in Spanish, I always wondered if there was 1 English speaking person in the entire world that would make their own version, and I finally found one holy shit.
There's a bit more recycling in here than I'd like, namely in Rush super animations, but overall this is extremely impressive. The addition of new characters alone is quite a feat.
I just hope the new characters are well balanced. Modders have a knack for making all the DBS characters way stronger than everyone else in the game. They don't look too bad here, just would be nice to see them with more characters in the original game to compare. Keep up the great work modding community.
I love how in bt4 great ape vegeta still screams the same but it's deeper like it should be unlike bt3 which just re used regular vegeta's hit sounds for his great ape form

Got the mod myself not too long ago. Am madly in love with this. I don't know if anyone knows though, how do you unlock all the characters outside of story mode? Is it all tournaments like the old game or something else?
Tournament mode, I am sure the rest are Fasha, and King Cold for sure. Hope that helped Although a more slot add on is being worked but it is still in alpha and can only add 7 characters without making the game crash.

And the old passwords for BT3 don't do anything either just as a guessing game. Do you happen to know about those too?

This mod is beautiful. It really does *feel* like I'm looking at a BT4. Some of the move choices confuse me though. Like for example Goku Blue's moveset. Why is the sequence starting at 3:45 a super attack, but the ultimate at 3:27 is just a big beam? And then why is that ultimate just a prolonged version of 3:39, but fired differently? It's strange to me.

Supposedly it's because they just combined both kaoiken blue goku and normal blue goku moveset. That's why all of the moves are like that and similar. In the previous beta ver, kaioken blue goku and normal blue goku are separate characters. Blue goku has super kamehameha and instant Kamehameha. The ultimate in 3:27 is original blue goku's ultimate. The other 2 movesets in this video are from kaioken blue goku. Kaioken goku in the previous beta has a combination attack with ssbe vegeta as ultimate moves. They basically just use super moves from the beta kaioken goku and ultimate from original goku blue
Let every dbz fan sign a petition to make tenkaichi 4 same gameplay but for ps4 and 5 I dont care about playing the same story over again maybe mix in a custom character like xenoverse like a saiyan survivor who nobody knew about and have him help the z fighters

This should be an actual game. Sometimes passionate modders make better games then multimillion dollar projects backed by 1-3 teams of developers with degrees
because modders care about the things they make, whereas most anime games are handled by work for hire devs who just want a paycheck, with rare few exceptions lately
