I used to watch this video and many others when I was in school to prepare me for games. I feel so happy that I’ve found them again! They bring back so much memories, makes me wanna go back in time. Hopefully I can get back into goalkeeping soon!

Thanks for posting this! I love watching it. Anyone can score goals, but not everyone can stop them. I played from age 12 to 36, the last 20 years nearly exclusively as a 'Keeper. A 58 now, I feel every season, every breakaway and penalty saved, but the memories make enduring all the aches, pains and arthritis worthwhile.
There's something incredibly beautiful about watching a goalie stretch out and tip a shot away from the target mid air. There's also something really cool about those crazy reflex saves.
Nothings worse than seeing a beautiful goal being missed for the 0.5 seconds before you experience the best feeling ever of experiencing a beautiful save
keepers are always under-rated, under-valued and under appreciated. cause they rarely score any goals and claim glory. they make save after save after save but people rarely remember how important they are to the team. keeper is the best man in the team and cheers to all the outstanding keepers out there!
Y'know, I see a lot of videos on youtube of people making some SICK goals but I gotta say as a keeper it's refreshing to see a video where it's a good thing to be in the highlight reel. Thank you for puttin this up.

i like videos like this because they show just how hard it is to be a goalkeeper. that's why there aren't so many, and there are even fewer greats. i mean, anyone can kick a ball into a net, but how many can stop it? without knocking a few teeth out.
Aw man, the good old days of me being keeper. unfortunately I stopped playing early due to my back spasms and nerve damage. still not too bad, played from age 12-19. I wanna starting a private coaching business so I can coach the next generation of great keepers.
funny, while I was watching the video I remembered Schmeichel saving what was going to be a great diving header from Ivan Zamorano in the 1999 champions league... and then it was at the end! Great video! look up Claudio Bravo at the Chile v Uruguay WCQ matches... he did some very good saves then...Cheers!
