UNBOXING THE GAN 12 UI SMART CUBE

- This is an unboxing and first look at the Gan 12ui smart cube. The cube out of the box was very fast and uncontrollable but has adjustment settings which I will sort out later. Besides the speed, it has a UV coating, and has a nice feel. It is also lighter than their previous smart cubes. The charging box has a pull-out piece on the bottom to allow you to set a smartphone or tablet on it while solving which is a nice touch. Overall the cube turns really well and a lot better than their previous smart cubes so am looking forward to using it. Any questions or comments please leave them below. Thanks for watching!

Got the cube but would love to have stronger magnets cause this feels loose other that that thanks for the charging instruction cause i was lost on that anyways thnx love the cube
Yep out of the box it was very loose but you can adjust tensioning and maybe use a lube that helps slow it down a bit. No worries 👍
I was going to buy this cube and this unboxing helped alot to see what product i was gonna get just ordered it

I have used a few different smart cubes and this is the best turning performance so far, no complaints at all with it, well I always like strong magnets so I wish they were a bit stronger. Apart from that it's as good as any normal cube I've used which surprised me in a good way. Anyway enjoy when you get yours and lets know how you get on with it 👍
A note on charging the cube, you put in the box and press the small button on the charger to get it charging the cube, it flashes while charging. I put it in once and didn't press the button so it didn't charge. You can also charge the charging box by plugging into usb-c and it will give several charges to the cube. I got exactly 2 hours and 20 minutes on a full charge. This may improve a bit as the battery conditions but is a bit less than stated. Thanks for watching 👍
Where did you get it? How much was it?
Hi, I got it on AliExpress, Ecube Store. It worked out £108 in total including taxes. I ordered it on the 8th and it arrived today 4hrs ago so took less than 2 weeks. Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. When I got the package I expected a larger package and it looked small so was a bit worried but it was was fine. There may be some dodgy sellers on that website so I suggest you read reviews and do some research before buying. Anyway trying to set up the adjustment system at the moment, it's a bit of nightmare trying to get the caps off, they were on tight! So far I'm very happy with it although it's a lot of money. How do you get the cube?
I bought it from Ecube Store on AliExpress website. It cost £108 after taxes and took less than 2 weeks to arrive. There are a few stores that seem have it on AliExpress, I think Picube Store is another one which I've heard people have used but always check store reviews and research before you buy. @@Gladiator6 No worries. By the way there is a better version of the smart cube now out or should be over the next week or so, it's called the Gan 12ui free play. It has better battery life from what I hear, 15hrs on a charge. See Sean's video here th-cam.com/video/G4rCCsfHIXo/w-d-xo.html
Gan 356 i3 or gan 12 ui play 2?
I have the GAN12 ui, which is slightly different than the FreePlay version which lasts a lot longer on a single charge. They are basically the same cube though as far as I'm aware. They are a lot better in performance than the i3 which isn't as smooth, catches while turning sometimes, has less adjustments and isn't as glossy... The 12 ui/ FreePlay are the best of the smart cubes at the moment. They feel great and turn better than a lot of top non smart cubes imo. So if you can afford it I would get the GAN12 ui FreePlay all day long 👍
@@Feverstockphoto the problem is their app, I've read some comments that it doesn't work properly or doesn't work at all
@@elenazen It works very well for most things that I use it for. I don't do head to head comps on it, just solves... It has improved a lot over the last year or so 👍
