TAEYANG is a member of the legendary group BIGBANG. Their group is from the second generation and reason why many idols have been inspired by them to become idols. TAEYANG’s passion is family, music and his religion. He’s a very humble, kind and sweet human being. TAEYANG’s music is influenced by MJ, r&b and hip hop. I’m glad you’re getting to see Jimin after some time, but imagine me having TAEYANG back after 6 years!!! 😭 I personally love the song and I think both complement each other very well. It is well known that Jimin is very open in saying that BIGBANG's Taeyang is his inspiration and role model and has wished and dreamed to share a stage with a BIGBANG member one day, and I'm so happy that dream finally came true for him 😭.
Big Bang is the reason why most Kpop groups began to include rappers and electro sound. Their leader was a child rap prodigy who got hooked on Wu-Tang Clan at the age of 9 and is best friends with Taeyang. All in all, in just their second year, they began to dominate the Korean pop scene and altered its landscape into what Kpop is today.

Before bts. Big bang is the biggest male group. They are still consider king of kpop since they heavily influence the korean music industry a lot. Doesn’t matter how big bts gotten. They still have to really respect big bang and its member since they are their seniors and they also looked up to big bang when bts were rookies. And no one can be #1 forever. Soon bts will be like big bang. A legend and a newer male group will take bts place.

I remember one of the members was asked when they will release new music and he said When God wants it 🤣🤣 They do solo projects in between usualy 😊

VIP is 55/45 male vs girls fans which is unlike anything ANY group has ever seen. There’s something called unique listeners in Korea meaning only one person/account for one platform, it’s used to first of all weed out bots and cheater streaming but also to see the wide range of ages in listeners and there’s very VERY FEW ARTISTS who can dominate all ages. One being BIG BANG and another being IU. Big Bang is known to “walk” on the rooftop which means they easily have hundreds of thousands of unique listeners listening to their new releases for days and weeks straight, which is extremely rare.
Not even top girl groups can do this.
I would suggest listening to Big Bang as they are the reason kpop is what is is now. Think about it.

Just a small introduction about BIGBANG if you're interested to know.. Contrary to some new K-pop lovers who think that BIGBANG and BTS are of the same generation, they are NOT from the same generation.. BIGBANG belongs to 2ND GENERATION because they debuted in 2006 while BTS belongs to 3RD GENERATION because they debuted in 2013. Though, G-Dragon started in the Korean music industry as a rapper and singer at the age of seven(7) as a member of the group LITTLE ROORA in 1995(1ST GENERATION) and already has been a featured artist in 2001 of Perry's song "Storm". Actually, G-Dragon started as a child actor in 1992 before involving himself in the music industry. Taeyang also started his music career in 2002 before BIGBANG debuted as part of the song, " Unfold at a Higher Place" with G-Dragon and him(Taeyang) being credited of the song's lyrics. BIGBANG has been in the music industry for 17 YEARS and counting while BTS is 10 YEARS and counting.. G-DRAGON has been in the Korean music industry for 27 YEARS and counting while TAEYANG for 20 YEARS and counting.. I LIKE BOTH GROUPS not because of their appearances or how they look and not because of their personal lives but because both of them are talented and skilled in music of their own specialty. I like their music.. Yes to more collaborations between the two groups in the future! Yay!
