The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As long as the movie does a good job like hear then it should be fine but unfortunately the fan base is so much up its own ass they can't handle it lol.
But because it didn't do well in America and because the director didn't see a point in continuing with the trilogy he's handed it over to another in hopes they might continue.

Calling it little change to lore is like WW2 movie where Germany conquers world and call it little change to history.
The animation is incredible in this movie. I'm not a Warcraft fan so I'm not sure what people disliked about it, but I'm impressed.

Hugely underrated, this was an awesome movie. My partner loved it without ever having heard of the Warcraft games.
I wish three was mode Warcraft movies, diffraction episodes, more epic and grandiose like Lord of the ring.
This movie is so underrated.
As a massive and longtime fan of the fantasy genre, I really enjoyed Warcraft. Why can't we have more epic fantasy films like this?

Cause they take a lot of effort and money to make. This kinda CGI is a horror for a film studio that wants to make much money in little time. Sadly.

As someone who loves fantasy, I just wanna see magic on screen. As someone who enjoys Warcraft, I just wanna see the world and characters on screen. People have really high standards for movies though, like outrageous standards.

Sorry to inform you that the director isn't planning to make another sequel, according to the director the critics ruined it and people didn't go to see the movie because of the poor rating.
He actually planned it for a trilogy but sadly there's no chance of next 2 movies.

Truth is every aspect but the orcs is shit in this movie. The humans should've been cgi as well. The story sucked and the acting is awful. There's a lot of worthless nonsense, and the female orc is classic hollywood bullshit. Not one person in the history of ever said, "I wish we had a mary sue female orc in this movie".
These types of adaptations will always be shit unless the focus is to tell a story.

Like how Garrona was in love with Medivh not Lothar. Their son would eventually become the most OP mage in history so yeah a big plot change

I would have loved to see a sequel. The siege of Stormwind. Lothar vs Doomhammer, then Doomhammer vs Guldan, then seeing other races and the formation of the Alliance of Lorderon. It would be partly Warcraft 1, and mostly Warcraft 2. The 3rd movie focusing entirely on Warcraft 3.

You can definitely see why Lothar Travis Fimmel was used as Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings. He is such a great actor. He is extremely convincing in what ever role he plays.🔥🗡️

man i was so hyped when i saw all the horde leaders in the movie. sad blizzard didnt let them have a special talk among them, Kargafth blade fist was there, Kilrog dead eye was there, blackhand, and even Grommash hellscream! he is my favourite. i hope one day blizzard can create a movie based in orcs on Draenor and we have the opportunity to see Garrosh

Warcraft was a fine film, it was to focused on the lore story, rather than creating script for ordinary viewer, but still it was very enjoyable and I would like to see more films set in this Universe :) Maybe in totally different tone or period of time.
Lotta video game adaptations make that mistake, paying respects to the game while also being good enough to stand on its own

Before releasing this film when I was 14 years old. I was expecting to see how the Horde destroyed Stormwind, and how Orgrim Doomhammer manage to beat Blackhand in mak'gora for the mantle of Warchief, wipe out all the warlocks of the Shadown Council while Gul'dan was on a coma, and Anduin Lothar led their exodus to Lordaeron to inform King Terenas Menethil about the orcs and the death of King Llane Wrynn who was killed by Garona Halforcen, and calling all 7 human kingdoms along with the dwarfs of Khaz Modan and Aerie Peak, the high elves of Quel'thalas, and the gnomes of Gnomeregan for the formation of Alliance of Lordaeron. But it didn't happened in the movie. But I really loved it because the movie was epic, and I did not expect that Grommash Hellscream and Kargath Bladefist were included in the movie but the timeline of the story is the First War, and those 2 chieftains did not participate the war. Only Kilrogg Deadeye of Bleeding Hollow Clan, Cho'gall of Twilight's hammer clan, Blackhand the Warchief of the Horde and chieftain of Blackrock clan with his lieutenants Ogrim, Varok Saurfang, and Eitrigg. Durotan is also the part of the story but with his Frostwolf clan were been exiled and take refuge in Alterac Mountains. Grommash was my favorite Horde character, and Kargath's appearance same as the WoD model. I really appreciated this movie, because I been played Warcraft 3 since I was 9 but I never played World of Warcraft atleast I followed the lore. The Horde is my favorite faction, but they were defeated by the Stormwind kingdom, forming the Alliance in the movie. Hahahahaha I'll hope there will be a next Warcraft films about the Second War, and Turalyon, Alleria Windrunner, Danath Trollbane, Uther the Lifebringer, Zul'jin, and other characters were included in the film.
As a World of Warcraft player and an Orc main.... I have been waiting and waiting for the next instalment since watching this.... please make and release the next.

The Humans are extremely brave to fight an army filled with orcs that are twice as big and strong as themselves.
