Hi Dionysus, thanks, I'm happy you enjoyed the video! About the scales: So f.e. in the blues in G that I talk about in the video, we would use a G mixolydian scale for G7 but then for C7 we need a C mixolydian scale and for D7 we use a D mixolydian scale. so these chords all require slightly different scales. There are other more significant changes in tunes, f.e. when in a tune there is a modulation, which means the tune starts f.e. in G major and then modulates to a different tonality, f.e. E Major. So to make a long story short: Often you'll find that for different chords in one song you need different scales and therefore we always have to look carefully at that to find out which upper approaches to use.
