Great video man !! I wonder if you ever experienced the video colors being more dull after running through shot tracer? It’s a problem I keep coming across
Hey Bud! Appreciate the follow on IG! Since I record 8 bit Log on my camera, I edit those clips in Shottracer and export them out: "Output resolution: As source" Because I color grade the footage in FCPX after. I find the color changes the least by doing that. It does have a small dullness to it, but since I record in Log and then color grade in post, you can't really tell the difference. Hope this helps!
If you are using iPhone video the shot tracer pro does not like the HDR video that it outputs (if it's not iPhone then not sure what the problem is). That is how I have gotten the muted colors (if using iPhone) in the past and its a pain where you will have to re-export the video in like h.264 codec or something shot tracer pro likes. You can turn off HDR mode for your videos in the settings. Saw your comment and was thinking maybe it was the same thing so I thought I would share. Good luck!
I tried shot tracer pro for a month but then kept having issues. Exports would randomly go from 1x to 2x speed in the same video. And the camera tracki g was terrible. But regardless. Really enjoyed your video man. Glad you got recommended on my feed
Don’t have Shot Tracer yet, planning on shooting a 9 hole two player match. Do I edit add ST to the individual shots or do I edit the match and then import the project to TS and let it add the effect automatically. Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your videos.
I would recommend adding the tracers to each shot individually to get the best out of each tracer/shot in your vid. You can try to import the whole project after it has been edited and see if the tracer effect gets added on. Depending on how long your video will be, it may not be able to process the file size. Appreciate the support Sergio! Feel free to hit me up with any other questions and I'll answer them the best way possible. Thanks for watching!
@@raulgolfs Gotcha, I just did a round with 9 holes. Didn't try any zooming effect. It wasn't even close on any of my shots. Not sure what im doing wrong
Ohh man I never thought about that. I’m not sure if I’d wanna do that because I noticed when you export out of Shot Tracer the color quality is slightly dimmed. And I color grade my footage in Final Cut Pro.
Hey Danny! So i noticed my color from my footage was slightly faded. Idk why the system does that. But, I color grade my footage when I’m editing the videos.
Dude! Great video tutorial man. Love the “done is better than perfect.”
Glad you liked it!!
Appreciate it brother
Absolutely bud! Hope it helped. 👍

How do you do it "good good" style where it shows the tracer while the camera is zooming in?
The Shottracer App has that feature. You would just need to be sure the camera has is zoomed in.

If you finish your edit in final cut and export a 10 minute video, can you put the 10 minute edit into Shot Tracer and then add the lines?
Ohh man I never thought about that. I’m not sure if I’d wanna do that because I noticed when you export out of Shot Tracer the color quality is slightly dimmed. And I color grade my footage in Final Cut Pro.
@@raulgolfs that's interesting. I was thinking it might save time. Instead of having to upload and export each clip individually.
Great tip for shooting in an L!
Glad it helped! Definitely works well.
Any idea why any video I throw on the app washes out all the color of the video?
Hey Danny! So i noticed my color from my footage was slightly faded. Idk why the system does that. But, I color grade my footage when I’m editing the videos.
