I felt previous ghost stories stream (kind of you were in extraaa hurry kinda rude, maybe you were not getting spooked initially 👻). But the end was good with some really spooky stories 😉

Maybe those who recited the stories felt that jose was being rude, but as a listener, he was constantly making me feel anxious about the fact that he would tell the person reciting to cut all the (apparently) uninteresting bits out and just jump to the climax (bhoot) - which he was doing quite a bit.
I feel ghost stories lose their charm when they do not let the people hearing get sucked in to the experience. And if the narrator is also feeling excluded along with the listeners, then probably some more effort can be made to make it more inclusive.
That said, the exclusion does not feel deliberate. In fact, you can clearly see all these guys trying really hard to get the balance right, but the limitations of time are such that they will either get to give very few people a chance to recite, or if more people are platformed, then each of them will get less time.

Here in Bangladesh, I heard a variation of Cyrus' habubu story so I saw it coming. In that version, the aunty gets asked about what happened to her finger and out of nowhere she screams, "YOU TOOK IT!".
