    The Interior transformation was extremely gratifying to follow. I can see the light now. I'm really excited to see the body parts come together soon and then the drive train. The car has such great lines. It is going to a special car to have and enjoy as a driver.

    it's so nice to see someone cleaning things while working on a car. It hurts me to see dirty parts going back on cars.

      Oh man, that's one of my biggest pet peeves... you HAVE to clean before putting things back!

    I'm amazed at the stellar condition of the driver's side door panel. Was it like that or did you have it redone? Also, are those the original front seats? On mine, I had to reupholster - went with Black leather simulation vinyl that overall lends and goes great. Had I been able to get the original clothe upholstery design, I would've opted to reupholster that way, but apparently it doesn't exist any longer. BTW, I'm the original owner of a '97 240SX. All in all, it's in pretty descent condition and to this day still gets the looks. Somewhere back there, I remember looking into the rather large S-14 community in Australia for a power steering pump. They wanted a pretty penny, but it was Silvia S-14 OEM. Maybe that might help, in terms of parts for your project.

      Believe it or not, the seats and door cards are all original! I was lucky to score this super clean interior locally for my restoration. And your car looks incredibly clean, I can't believe it's a single owner car! That's mind blowing... If you ever want to sell, send me a message! Haha
      And I'll take a look into the steering pumps you're talking about it Aus!

    Nice! Can you share the specs for the (discontinued) back seat bots? or where/how you got them? (part no. 08116-8251G... you grab one at 2:27 of the video) Nissan tech was not helpful and need to bolt the back seats of my zenki 240sx build somehow. Looking forward to the rest of the video series! Keep up the great content!

      I jumped the gun... I thought I had found them on a site in Japan but they have been discontinued over there too. So I'm going to go to my local specialties hardware place and see if they can match it. And thank you, I appreciate you watching!

      I found it! (the -discontinued- back seat bots)
      It's an M8-1.25 bolt... I went with a 20mm long pair of bolts (with a washer) but you might be able to use a longer bolt too.

    Just watching this video now, but the hub has like a metal sleeve in the middle that slips out. I had the same issue with my Nardi horn button and it was a duh moment

    Hey bro, great videos I found your shadow a little while back. I am so glad I did I’m restoring a 1991 to 40 SX hatchback for a good friend of mine and I’m learning a lot from your videos.!! bro let me ask you where can I find the door handles the window buttons and the trim to fit around the door handle for the inside of the doors? Thanks bro.

      Thank you, glad you’re enjoying the videos and finding them helpful! Looks like nissanpartscc still has the handle surround: www.nissanparts.cc/oem-parts/nissan-interior-door-handle-bezel-s13-r32-8068230p00
      They’re my go to source for parts in the US as they do a really good job stocking parts for old Nissan. Also a lot of parts that are discontinued in the US are still available in Japan, so if you have a part number you can’t get in the US check RHDJAPAN.com or Nengun.

    Is the orange strip on that steering wheel off center?

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might be, the steering shaft isn't hooked up to the steering rack right now so it's not centered.

      @@avengednickexactly they're all discontinued. But when I see some new parts, I can't help myself. I buy the new plastic trims. My interior on my s2k is looking better as well. Glad to see yours looking good too man 👍
