    I have one question about p factor.
    Why you make the transfer Raster to polygon?
    Is it correct to put P factor with slope directly ?

    • @algeria7002
      @algeria7002  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello
      Responding on your question
      Depending on my knowledge, you can't modify a raster by inserting a new column, you have to covert it to a polygon then to reconvert it again to raster after inserting the required informations

    Would you please share the data source of P factor table you mentioned as well? It really helps a lot!

    So many Thanks!! I have got it very essential. Could you help me how to produce the P-factor values based on agricultural land and other lands classification and slope percent combination? THANKS!

    I would appreciate if you could help interpret the final RUSLE map with examples

  • @tshetendorji
    @tshetendorji 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you Sir for your prompt comments. The output from the resultant RUSLE is quite alarming in the sense that the value is 0 - 3323.13 and not 0 - 1 as indicated in your response. I have exclusively followed your procedure on u tube to generate all the factor maps. However, I failed to locate the procedure to compute the final soil loss (i.e A= R*K*LS*C*P). It would really be of immense help, if you could provide us the detail guide lines if you have to generate final RUSLE map and its interpretation.

    What criteria that needed to give the c-factor of value?is it has standard value that can be reffered?

    • @algeria7002
      @algeria7002  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's depends on the type of vegetation
      There are a table of standard values of c factors for each vegetation type

    Do we have to divide the answer (final RUSLE map) derived after multiplying all the factors together with 100 as in the case of LS factor.

    • @algeria7002
      @algeria7002  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tsheten Dorji el salam alaikom my brother
      No it's not necessary to divide on 100 in the case of the resulted values are between 0 and 1
      As you know that the values of the RUSLE factors are between 0 and 1
      Take care of yourself

      +Hamoutahra Narjisse hello miss how are you doing ?
      yes you are right it's logical
      but in my case I used the table which has been developed by wischmeir and smith in 1978 to modelate the P factor using the Slop values
      you can check that in the thesis of Kenel delusca at the page 91 on this link
