As a WX main, I'm super excited to have more things to do than "eat gears, become op"
A little sad that you can't upgrade with gears anymore, but it's not like I did that often anyways lol
I find this way better then just eating gears. I mean you can still eat them but they are just basically a good source of food and healing.
The only reason I didn't play Wx-78 basically at all was because of how horrendous the gear eating mechanic was. Having the weight of the world on my shoulders of pressure to not die or start from practically SCRATCH was just not enjoyable, and I absolutely abhored when my stats were completely random numbers when I was only partially upgraded. Now I can actually enjoy playing Wx-78.

Hey AK you should check out the beta yourself, especially with the wurt changes
Just a heads up klei has since started to change just a few of the recipes and creatures needed for a few of the circuits. Once they are all done with the changes I will make a follow up post here so far spiders have replaced butterfly for the basic. A few circuits have since shrunk down and been added too.
The Illumination Circuit takes 3 slots now. 11:50 You are forgetting you have to kill her to make the jelly beans. Upon hitting max wetness with the Refrigerant Circuit, you instantly become completely dry & drop 2 ice on the floor, making ice attainable at all times of year with a paddle & boat. Essentially converting 1 log into 2 ice.

My favorite thing about this update is that with the chorus box circuit I can become a replacement glommer
I keep crashing when I die if I have circuits but I think it will be fixed soon in the update. But yes the walking music box is so cool.

Ahh they do not yet klei actually said they probably won't ever but they did say it's not impossible just not anytime soon.

They ruined this character by preventing WX from upgrading by eating gears. These circuits suck.
feels like someone didnt like the balance,ooooooooooooooo sure having a character who can get more than 400 health with no penality is good but it still needs to be balanced+circuits have more variety and arent as pricey as gears,if you play a game because you like a overpowered thing dont play it
