For example, ours is a male dominated industry. 50's and 60's were particularly for songs and 99% of the stars were only stars, no acting at all. These males who could not act, who cannot convert fun into acting, has no choice but to depend on singing. There was nobody except Rafi they can go to salvage their movie and career. Rafi's contribution is second to none. Without him, the industry would have collapsed.

Rafi Sahab was known to be a very humble down to earth person whose greatness was not only in his golden voice but also in his golden nature. Truly a great human being first & a great singer who gave all the credit to the almighty. Such gems will be truly difficult to find in todays world where a lot of singers have more nakraas than they are really worth.
