This video is honestly probably not that useful, but I think it's kinda cool to archive most of the weapon stats cause they will surely be different in the near/distant future. Part 2: th-cam.com/video/IK-KCDv4S8c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2kWK-isbz4wBZlNK
What cybersun doesn't want you to know is that the china lake is heavly marketed and overpriced pneumatic canon. Go to your nearest chem bar and ask for potassium for more information. (You can also hit small explosive 6 times with a crowbar to turn them into impact grenades if it is fired at a wall).
One thing to note about spears - Despite having higher DPS, they don't "swing" when you do a wide swing, they stab forward, which means if you aren't accurate enough, you'll end up missing most of your hits, which drastically decreases possible DPS.
You can actually pick up unwrenched pipes and store them in your bag. They're also one steel to make and best practice is to make it in maints since there's no floor tiles in the way and other obvious reasons...
It's actually surprisingly easy to get plastic for the improvised shells once you know where the disposals with recyclers are. * You start with a water bottle + breathing mask, that's 2 plastic sheets. * Most of the red toolboxes have like 2 breathing masks. Tider trashman sure is scary. You can hack a bartender machine in the mains to make it eject glasses with a bang. A station has a lot machines with matchsticks. I had like 8 shells on myself. I would have more if not the (shit)sec officer which confiscated all my mats without telling me. AT LEAST STUNBATON ME OR SOME SHIT.
i think the reason a shiv is better is cause you don't normally hurt yourself swinging a piece of glass, so it probably assumes that the spaceperson is swinging it careful enough to not cut themselves. but puttin a piece of cloth on it lets them swing harder with it. Considering structural the mining drill does a whole lot of damage to borgs.
This was actually very useful for me, when either zombies or nuke ops show up I try to find the most reasonable way to at least get a few damage points in if I need to fight, usually it’s one of the things you showed off here! So thank you for the comparison video!
You can put a shit ton of stun batons in the pneumatic cannon and auto lunch them for ranged stun damage Plus the truncheon is a tier 1 or 0 armory research now
literally every tool storage room has a VendoMat in it, and those have capacitators, small power cells and LV cable, the only hard part of making a stun prod is the glue
I always find more glue than I could ever want in maints dives, the closets with soap sometimes also have glue. Mileage definitely varies depending on station
its not added to the list, but of course theres always the water backpack and nozzle for makeshift flamethrowers. ive started putting small bottles of phloge napalm mixes into improvised cannons. they take up 1 slot, hurt people on impact and gives them 2 ticks of fire stack. VERY deadly Very useful
I once gave 1k burn damage to hos while he was in middle of security with many secoffs around. I only used a fire extinguisher and access to chemistry room
And also maybe using some razzorium from chemistry would be useful. Like, you can just steal some bicaridine and advanced brute medicine and mix them for free extra slash.
Is it generally better to dip arrows in welding fuel or fourteen loko? I've always used welding fuel but i never though of fourteen loko as an option until you brought it up here.
Honestly, im gona make a spear next time i hop in, label it as "healing wand" walk into med, scream, hit people and watch how med gets visibly confused when patients magically heal instead of taking damage
You did a CM14 play video. What do you feel about an introduction to alternate forks video? Where you give a quick overview of the different forks and how they play.
Well, if it's crew weapons, it should be round start weapons. But that's just me. If it requires ANY research, it's not civilian nor crew weapons. But that is just me I guess.

Thanks for the robust advice i'll remember this if i ever do budget ops

Yeah landing spear hits is a bit harder than most weapons.
Everyone forget about the bola...
If you throw a bola, then a stunbaton, then the target will fall
Note: you can make rifle stock in your inventory for 5 wood (I made 3 shotguns in one round cuz of how easy it is

That is great advice, thank you
Personally I think the bat is the greatest weapon that has graced SS14
Can't go wrong with the bat, that's for sure.
Where is the Throngler?
the final boss of melee
I have seen a throngler once. Such carnage. Devestation even. I hope to never experience that horror again
Not common and I made that meme already lol
I get it every shift as cargo (i watched the guide) @@Liltenhead
Sounds like you don't have a degree in thronglenomics
Something to note that I noticed that has gone unmentioned. Clicking middle mouse on an item in a bag save item locations. Give it a try!
ill cover it in the next update vlog

Recently I have found an arti that was default attack speed and had like 21 piercing damage. . used it to kill the very monkeys it required
It can also be a revolver!
You can put a shit ton of stun batons in the pneumatic cannon and auto lunch them for ranged stun damage

I wasn't aware it was low tier now. And yeah if you can manage to get multiple batons you can toss em for a quick stun.
Yeah shoot stun batons at your enemy...
What could go wrong!
Pneumatic cannon is more useful for bolas, and chem beakers. Being able to long range 'throw' reactive chemicals can be really useful
just a note, the truncheon is a T1 research for sec, not a high tier arsenal tech. as sec you should ALWAYS bully sci for advanced riot control.
Liten you've missed flatcaps. Theyre extremely op for how easy they are to make and I've made a flatcap cannon with the pneumatic one.
You can make the rifle but in the craft menu, at least now you can!
WE MAKING IT OUTTA THE POWERGAMING WITH THIS ONE
Does a welder and a fuel tank count as a weapon, or is that more bootleg ordinance?
bootleg ordnance is a good name
People forget about the pneumatic cannon high power mode where it ejects everything the canister has power for at once.
I thought it just threw things further.
I did it earlier today with a bag of dice, it ejected a bunch at once but knocked me over.
@@admiralobvious I have not been able to replicate being able to shoot multiple things at once.
Weird.

Yeah but they normally are fully looted in 3 seconds

Claymore does swing slower than usual, like a pickaxe, but i've only seen claymore on Delta map in a secret spot
You did a CM14 play video. What do you feel about an introduction to alternate forks video? Where you give a quick overview of the different forks and how they play.
I think that was CM13. CM14 isn’t playtesting yet last I heard
fairly certain you can make a rifle stock by hand? lathes are unneeded last I checked
Forgot the pie.
true
The best weapon in revolution is reinforced/plasma spear. They do big damage and can be used as hypopen. 10/10
Wdym "used as hypopen"? How is it works?
@@wiredgod Dip it in a chemical and that's it.
Steal advanced brute medicine and bicaridine for free razzorium, wich is free extra slash damage that cant be resisted because its a chemmical
Well, if it's crew weapons, it should be round start weapons. But that's just me. If it requires ANY research, it's not civilian nor crew weapons. But that is just me I guess.
The idea was more so weapons you may see laying around during nukies or zombies
8:50 fire axe
Im an idiot and forgot about it.
@@Liltenhead no worries! but do take a break at some point lol
hey lilten would be cool if you made a video about all of the plant mutations
Can't you craft a rifle stock in the crafting menu?
yeah
please litenhead turn your mic volume up i have my pc in 100 percent everytime and i can barely hear you
Weird, I listen to my own videos at like 20% volume, I can turn it up.
Check your audio mixer maybe you have your browser set at low volumes
Config issue. I hear him absolutely fine at 50% at my phone and ~13% on PC
You missed all the botany weapons. The shovel the hatchet and the scythe all decent damage
They're there, they all do 10 dps or less.
Can chemicals be re-added into neetles?
no, you gotta grow em like that.
Didnt develop the neumatic canon enough
Is they’re gonna be a video about the secret rooms on the map?
probably not
If you're gonna include the Sabre, why not the Fire Axe?
Didn't really think about it for whatever reason
making a macro to reload a bow lmao
do botany next
