    Question?
Once the suction has started would it be better to move the two larger water hoses to the side of the vessel to push the sand into the suction nozzle instead of the way your doing it? Seems to me, using the flow of the water coming out of the hoses to move the sand directly towards, then into your suction nozzle would be faster? The sand will flow or wash much easier than the way it is currently being done? Use the water from all three water hoses in the same area. Use the smaller hose as the breaker into the sand and the two larger hoses as the movers of the sand. Use the two bigger hoses flow working together in a small circular or side to side motion to move the sand into the suction tube. Like I said, it seems to me, by using the force of the water from the hose to move the sand directly towards your suction nozzle will move the sand faster and easier… a side to side or small circle motion of the water hose will increase your efficiency and increase the amount of sand movement into the nozzle or sand pick up.
    Just a suggestion…

The vessels weight must be maintained laterally. Wet sand on one side only could be dangerous.

Nice video. A question: How long time does it take to unload the ship from start to finish?

Complete and utter waste of time. Better to have a digger on the pier to dig it out.
