The SFV Guile vs. Dhalsim one is easily my favorite. Seems like a lot goes into it setup-wise, also the collision at the end is just spectacularly massive. 3:50
She traded power for getting to spam it three or four times in rapid succession in SFV. Not sure if it was really worth it or not, but it's almost a different technique entirely.
If you look at the Haoh Gadoken its not like Ryu and Kens Super Hadokens. Dan is smashing two super Hadokens together just like Gouken. Thats the reason its stronger. But Im working on a Dan theory and the only reason Gouken should kick him out is if he was secretly looking at the forbidden techniques and got caught.
@@joejoejoej9763 yeah. Dan had so much darkness in his heart, that if gouken had continues training him, he would have turned into another Akuma. Dan is also capable of using the raging demon, although not consciously.
I prefer sfv as it has more characters with the only problems are that there is only one super art and that without getting the champion edition it is impossible to get a second character with fight money unless you use real money or spend a few hours completing the experienced soldier with every character
I truly wish they made this an essential part of the game. Because realistically, that would just be wasting bar. Kinda like what they did in Injustice with the 'clash' mechanic. You clash, and then select how much bar you want to spend, or if you wanna spend any. Imagine a clash, but it's a beam struggle like dragon ball or something.
Most of these are Super Moves or Ultra Moves. They'd only have one kind of meter left to spend after this. It would also make it unfair for people who don't have meter. Ultras are meant to be a comeback mechanic, if it could be negated by someone building meter, then it's advantages are nullified. The enemy will probably have more meter than you thanks to not needing to spend any. Making a QTE in a competitive fighting game would also be pretty controversial. I don't want to lose because my opponent can spin his stick better than me.
This already kind of exists though? You can throw a regular fireball, EX fireball, or super (0 bars, 1 bar, 3 bars). EX will beat regular fireballs, and super will beat both regular and EX. That's far more elegant of a solution than some forced cutscene mechanic imo.
You must have had fun making this. Lots of subtle differences Capcom implemented. I'll give you a really fun subtle one. Akuma air ex fireball is a two part move. On close contact it hits twice followed by another 2 hitter. If the first portion doesn't hit anything, he chucks a 5 hit fireball. If the first portion meets a fireball, and then he still chucks the second portion, it retains its hits. Recipe: Dhalsim charge up CA (10 hits) vs Akuma second half ex fireball (5 hits) = 5 hits left in Dhalsim CA. Before the CA hits the ground, have Akuma do another air ex fireball (2 hit portion, 5 hit after). The fireball that goes through retains all 5 hits still. Groovy.
Uriens Mirrors CANT counter the Haoh Gadoken. It can only counter a weak Haoh Gadoken. Only Gills Fire Javelin can counter his Haoh Gadoken. Gills Ca is actually a Hard counter to every projectile in the game except for the Haoh Gadoken
I think it would be cool if Gil was in trekked because each button is mapped to a different part of the body and Gil is half hot and half cold so you could have two buttons mapped to fire attacks and two buttons mapped to ice attacks or something.
Does anyone know which "Street Fighter" series was actually the first where projectiles that land more than one hit have their hits subtracted upon colliding with other projectiles?
Why does this girl 3:27 and this weird looking guy 5:08 both have unstoppable, uncounterable attacks? (The girls attack is only stopped by that one weird guy)
Yup. This video confirmed it. Dan is the most powerful Street Fighter. His Haoh Gadouken beated the power of a (so called) god!!! Edit: Nvm... Gill was just playing with him. Lol
Gill has two options for dealing with any fireball in the game. His Critical Art(Level 3) will destroy any fireballs it clashes with and wont dissapear until it destroys the fireball. His VT1 fire Javelin will destroy ANY projectile like its nothing. Well Dan loses to V1 Fire Javelin but his Haoh Gadoken beats Gills Level 3. So he still can beat a gods firepower. It used to be through clashes but they gave him to the same ability Fire Javelin has which just deletes fireball. (It still cant beat Fire Javelin though) But you gotta wonder... What is Dan training so hard for. 🤨🤔🤨
That would completely kill the meta of street fighter. projectiles are thrown way too often as a zoning tactic. Besides that throw singular fireballs as opposed to beams
One thing I'll always love about IV is the recoil from most of the projectile supers. It actually showed they were giving ii their all for the supers.
SFIV projectiles still best projectiles when it comes to animations and effects.
Ngl, I get why they decided to remove it. The recoil can make those projectiles safer than it needs to be.
I prepared the graphics to V for some reason. I also like the range of characters that we will never see again. Random but interesting characters.
@@trongtran8951 Mybe due to a bunch of frames after the supers could be disadvantageous if player 2 blocks

Gill is like "Cut that shit out" when throwing that fire javelin.
It’s like Zeus’ bolt. That’s not a fireball that’s heavenly judgment standing against a GOD. Damn
