My brother married his high school sweetheart after college in 1992 when he was 25 and she was 24 and they've been married ever since. He's never had to deal with any of this bullshit. Your brother is lucky. I had a high school sweetheart I liked and it was a crush. She ended up dating a white guy, she's hispanic. They went to same college out of state and I never asked her out. They got married years later after we graduated high school and I almost regret it. But not really because we didn't have anything in common but I could be friends with her now.
