+Tomáš Martykán You can in a template VM! It's Xen underneath all of the GUI so run Gentoo with all of your apps you compile from source. The VM template itself will revert back to the "golden" image you have as your template.

Good questions, newer hardware doesn't works or works sh*ty on nouveau. Even older have some problems...

Hope you solved your problem but a tip if others have the same issue is ti switch from UEFI boot to legacy boot.
