Personally I like the week to week release, and soon the seasons increase to 8 before they settled on 10 episodes per season from series 6 onwards. I think this happened because the show just kept gaining momentum and viewers so they negotiated better budgets for it,so much so it even moved from a free digital only channel up to a major UK network.
Cheers for the comment mate, weekly works for me too, but I've had some videos underperform pretty hard lately, so 2 Taskmasters in a week is good for my stats :D
Ive done the numbers and watching this weekly would take up to 4 years to catch up. Roughly 3 years to get to season 15 but during that time 5 more seasons will be released which would take another year to get through
The current schedule of one episode a week is absolutely fine. To be honest, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t watch a 2 hour long video of an entire season in one go
You have to remember that the item you bring on as memorabilia could get lost if you don't win that round. So if you bring something really valuable, you risk losing something really valuable just to earn a couple points that one game can reverse.
When I was a kid in the 80's in the UK there was a live weekly pop chart show called Top of the Pops, it was an extremely popular show, one week Dexys Midnight Runners performed their hit 'Jackie Wilson Said' a cover of the Van Morrison song, and the set designers for the show must have been a little confused... as they put a large photo of the dart player Jockey Wilson's head at the back of the stage, it was absolutely hilarious and is still replayed today on blooper shows, the clip is on TH-cam.
Your chocolate banana muffin story reminded me of something my parents did when I was a kid too! I hated mash potatoes when I was a kid, and one day they put some in an ice cream cone and gave it to me. I ate it all, then when I'd finished I looked at them and cried "That was mash potatoes, wasn't it?" Luckily, I was not sick and I actually do like them now. But it's a fun story... 🤣
I don't know if you will ever see this now, but with your love for The Inbetweeners, Doc Brown is actually in an episode too. The one where Will eats the weed, he is the dealer! Just though I would let you know as a fellow lover of the show.
Does anyone know where I can stream the whole show?? I can only find up until season 6, but not the rest... I live in the US and I'm specifically looking for the UK version of the show so I can watch along here! Thanks for introducing me to Taskmaster Adam!!
I dont know, I use an aussie app called Binge, but usually if i want to find which app to watch things on, I google it, and on the right side of the screen it tells me which apps to find it on. Hope this helps
I don't think I've ever heard of someone hating bananas before, that's interesting. I definitely agree with you about the james bond one. Looking forward to next season!
Not sure if you're keen on Australian shows, or whether you've seen most of them off-channel already. But just finished binging Upright last night and tonally it reminded me of Scrubs/TedLasso/Schitt'sCreek with a good mix of humor and emotion. But as a wild road trip concept it is also very different from those ultra-produced shows. Loved Milly Alcock in House of the Dragon, so I looked around for Upright, and I can see now why they cast her to play a wild-child-trapped-in-royal-responsibilities in the GOT world - she is an absolute firecracker in Upright. (Total Control is another Oz show I would recommend for tackling the serious issues of racism and poverty in S1 & S2 respectively.)
Sadly Australian shows have a much smaller audience, which means less people look for reactions which means they end up being a lot of work for very little return. I'd love to do those reactions but they just aren't productive enough unfortunately
@@AdamfromFWCI Makes sense from your POV. Ironic (or hypocrtical, Willis?) because I'm American and always keep my eyes out for anything from Oz or NZ because it feels so much more fresh than the mindless junk we are spoon-fed here for the most part.
Week to week, because I like to watch your reaction but I also have to work do other sh*t around the house so 2 hours back to back is a bit too long for me
Kinda funny, but also kinda annoying Katherine xD i think every girl in the UK knows how to put on a tie coz it's school uniform, and just makes me roll my eyes when she compares it to tampons. it's an excuse to get out of doing a task, and she 100% cheated (it wasn't in the spirit of good competition) with the rabbit hat throwy catchy task. She shouldn't have won. edit: omfg jon tho xDDD I paused just before he said that
I had no idea ties for girls was so common, I went to a grammar school (in the UK) and the girls' uniform specifically had open-necked blouses to prevent any girl ever daring to blur the gender lines like that lol
"Look under the table" is advice for ALL Taskmaster going forward.
And not just that. Yes, beware "task hacks".
Very happy with two a week, there's loads to get through. Looking forward to season 3
Katherine’s crazy rants were always entertaining! The tampons and crying about sports always stuck in my head 😂

@@AdamfromFWCI fair play, do whatever works for the channel, I’ll still be watching them as I enjoy the trip down memory lane 👍

Lol i'll be over 40 by then.
Does that include the Aussie and NZ seasons?
@@AdamfromFWCI unfortunately no

Ok cool, appreciate the honesty :)
I find myself really looking forward to these Taskmaster reactions :) thanks for doing it!!
Season 3 has been amazing so far :D next episode coming on sunday
Greg Davies actually was a school teacher for many years. I think his name in 'The Inbetweeners ' was Mr Gilbert

little Alex Horne is a slim 6’2” and Greg is stalky 6’8”

Alex is 6 foot 2 inches, so not small at all, but compared to the giant that is Greg Davies, Greg jokes about him being smaller than him.
I'm 9 season deep, I know all about these 2 scallywags

I thought I read somewhere that for the US the full seasons are up on their TH-cam channel but I could be wrong
The show has an official channel on TH-cam with all of the seasons through maybe 13 (?) for free. Its definitely available in the US.
You are correct in disliking bananas.
Banana hate club ✋️

Yeah but she wasn’t a girl in the UK. She’s from Canada.
But she's Canadian. I think only our private schools have school uniforms, and maybe not even them

None of my friends schools had ties in their uniform
Greg was called Mr Gilbert in Inbetweeners but you was close
