Wagon Wheel opened in 2005??? That would have made me 21 and I can clearly remember being sat on them for about 15 minutes as a child thinking this is the most boring ride ever to be made....still interesting tho

Happy days ...started going with family in 83.......seen some changes........however who remembers the chimpanzee escaping and terrorizing the caravan park....some pour woman was trapped in a telephone box when the were outside....scary hey....or when the hurricane swept across England.....
I remember there was a scary walk through ride here im sure it was called bloombergs but can't find any info and was very young at the time :( i remember a lift being involved and a cut show of a man telling people not to come down

This park is very good for going cheap on coasters, i think this parks next coaster will be a gravity group looping coaster or one vekoma's new coaster designs. (2018 or 2019)

What we learned from this video: 1. Flamingo Land loves removing multiple rides in the same year. They removed Magnum Force and the Bullet in the same year. Two major thrill coasters! 2. Flamingo Land likes to bulk buy from manufacturers. When they worked with Vekoma for Velocity, they also bought Kumali the next year, also by Vekoma. Then I’m 2011 they added 3 Zamperla rides 3 years in a row! 3. Flamingo Land is a great park and we love it
Me in the future: there is no wooden coaster unfortunately, that would have been cool :( but there is an awesome wooden coaster at Alton Towers called Wicker Man and there is now an amazing steel coaster called Sik at Flamingo Land, which I went on for the first time today! I went to a lot of rollercoasters and big rides for the first time today (all of them were at Flamingo Land) :D Also I used to be called "Henry Gray" on a different account and I watched the channel a lot a few years ago when I was a kid. Went here in 2001 or 2002? It was great , we got a big static caravan and stayed for a few days. Went on that triple looper shit load of times. Great days
Flamingo land will not be getting a new ride due to them wanting to expand on the family side of things at the park. This means that they are more than likely to get a family flat or coaster at the park
can anyone remember the caged gorilla back in the 1970s? it was locked in a cage and the zoo keeper would prod it with a stick - and one day when i was there it escaped...everyone ran and screamed..! i was on my dads shoulders, but as a 4 year old, how was i supposed to know it was a bloke dressed up? haha
I don't know where you get your info but it is wrong about at least one ride. At 5:00 the ride you call Top Gun is not the same as the one as at King's Island, USA. They are nothing alike. Top Gun is a suspension ROLLER COASTER. It is STILL located at King's Island in Mason (Cincinnati), Ohio, USA. Only the name has changed, first to Flight Deck and then to The Bat. This name change was due to the park being sold and no longer affiliated with Paramount Pictures. I have been riding Top Gun since it first opened and it is still there. You can find videos of the real Top Gun at King's Island on TH-cam. You will see they are nothing like what you have pictured.
I said the ride was relocated from Kings Island. It was called Flight Commander and then when it moved over to Flamingo Land, its name was changed to Top Gun. I am fully aware about the rollercoaster that was once called Top Gun at Kings Island. I was talking about a completely different ride.

Did you watch the video? There was very limited sources showing information on Flamingo Land's rides, I was just going off what was on the Internet. I am also aware that there are different sources suggesting that Corkscrew opened in 1983 and 1990, I didn't know which one to go with. Finally, how do I know to believe you about this information? The huge wooden fort was there that I spent hours running around (You can see it in the back of one of the rollercoaster scenes in your video!) and there was a Death Slide too. A vertical drop of about 20feet that you just slid down vertically on your arse. Health & Safety probably banned that
The song "You Spin Me Round" by Dead or Alive had just got to No1 in the charts that day. It was a sunday in Feb or March 1985 and we listened to it on the way home (head-banging like the Jim Carrey What Is Love viral video lol)

Flamingo Land need to do a full clean down of the rides and park in general. Kumali, mumbo jumbo and cliffhanger are all examples of what were good looking rides that are now grimy and dirty

Flip Flop was 2007. When i went flamingo land in 2003 Klondike Creek was still in its place at the time. Splosh wasnt even built yet.
