I saw it the illusion the first time but then after the breakdown the illusion disappeared. I didn’t see it again after that. I can see where this could fool someone. It’s a bit of a hypnotic effect and hyper focus that causing your brain to not quite catch up to the fact that the hand hasn’t really gone through.
Its just like Joey card trick in friends..Joey felt that he looked at the card so fast that its invisible to the naked eye for others.. This guy belongs to the same category looking at the way he is feeling with what he is doing 😅
This may be good for much younger audience. Also, wearing a watch on his wrist makes it stick out more and lessens any sct of illusion. Take the watch off so it is not as obvious.

But if you’re watching the arm connected to the hand that’s curling the fingers, and the ‘trick’ is finally executed, it’s not terribly convincing to believe one hand has gone through the other.
Its much more effective when done in smooth transition. My man rushing into it and tring to flick like a card trick... Not everything has to be quicker than the eye son. Practice more before you show. All the best.
