    I just realized the different skins for Spinosaurus are named after Egyptian gods.
    Sobek is the goddess of crocodiles
    Ammit is a crocodile-headed monster that eats the hearts of those unworthy to enter the field of reeds (Ancient Egypt's version of Heaven)
    Taweret is the goddes of childbirth
    Hapi is the god of the annual flooding of the Nile.

    the large scales are called osteoderms, Spinosaurus was around 14 - 16 meters at the longest and it only weighed 7-8 tons at the heaviest. Rex was a good 2- 3 tons heavier.

    I just want to clarifie a couples of your informations, about that what you've said about Spinos life style is partialy wrong.
    Recent studies have shown that Spinosaurus could not dive under water at all, because of how it's body plan work, but more of a surface swimmer, like a duck, at least on water, and more like a giant Herron hunter on shallow waters.
    Also Spinosaurus is nowere near 13 tonnes and even more not 22, I don't know where those weight came from but Spino is currently more closely estimated between 6 and 7 tonnes.

    • @FriezaTheRuthless
      @FriezaTheRuthless 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Nope. Spinosaurus are closely related to saltwater crocodiles. And if you watched planet dinosaur they show that the SWAMPS WHERE SPINOSAURUS LIVED were REPLACED WITH A OCEAN BECAUSE OF CLIMATE CHANGE SO SPINOSAURUS HAD TO DIVE AND SWIM

    • @foxxtitan7028
      @foxxtitan7028 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@FriezaTheRuthless Huuh Planet Dinosaur is not a good exemple to follow first of all.
      And... closely related to crocodiles ??!
      Excuse you ?
      Spinosaurus is a Theropod at the time of today not a Crocodilimorph, so not, not even close even of an inch.
      Besides those information I give are factual, it's based on new paper that came not so long ago.
      And yes, Spinosaurus was not a diver at all because of it's body plan that wouldn't have permit it, especialy the sail that would just had make it roll on itself when trying to dive. Also Spino torso and belly are boat shape-like for floatability that would have prevent it to be buoyant.
      As I said the current consensus suggest a sufrace swimmer, for suface hunting or locomition/traveling added to a Herron type of life style.
