And the end of day everyone has to earn money. So where does the fault lies! In audience. We love getting triggered, shout out on Social Media, but eventually when time come when we have to purchase a movie ticket they will opt for Baghi.

Well how the hell will they see?
In India whoch is a poor backward country people have to struggle to make the ends meet for the daily meals
How in the fucking hell the will separately with lot of research and reviews will pick a movie to watch which is best in the market.
Is just blunt nonsense from their part. So have compassion for them.
When couple of years ago when Avengers Age of Ultron was released in my small city is wasn't available. Can u believe it a high budget superhit superhero film of that level?
This fad of Superhero is developed now. Earlier even that level of films where rarely shown, people have to pirate it. And that habit of piracy came in us Indians long time back due to unavailability of good movies....

Somewhere I also feel that media is also responsible bcoz whatever comes to us it's only through media..
    1. If any star kid or famous actor appear in the public get together or any thing like that media rushes towards to capture them instead of focusing other actors & then they keep flashing this news whole day in the channels. Generally we gonna aware of these stupid stars.
    2. Tumbard movies was masterpiece but I didn't even watch it's trailor over any channel & on internet as trending.. On the other hand sallu realses one ghatiya song by ruining the music, people watch it & also make it huge hit in no time by commenting " Bhai ne kya gaya hai gazab etc etc"...
    3. In any reality shows we can see starcast of SOTY types movies but we couldn't find the starcast of Masaan or Talvaar types movies anywhere...
But yes that's true by boycotting such movies, directors, actors, producers we can make a difference...

The problem is ... these small budget good quality movies don’t have enough funds to spend on marketing ... it hardly reaches us post release... by the time we hear about the movie ... they are out of the theatre.... so we land up watching them on the net or television.
The solution... I strongly feel there should be a theatre that only shows these kind of movies so that people have a choice.... these theatres should have some government backing in their initial years so that they don’t run through huge losses. At least then people have a choice.... currently there is no choice... even if we want to watch quality cinema on the big screen.

Good point. This video miss the opportunity to address the film mafia's systematic functioning to not leave the audience with options. The other movies do not even get any screen space for audience to make an informed and conscious decision on what to watch. The mafia have distributed the screens systematically to get all the attention from audience. All these big names who hold authority collaborate with each other to not have release clashes and leave audience with just one option to watch. Think about it. If karan johar and salman khan knows that people can be angry at this moment but eventually they will have their ways as people like them hold the authority on screen distribution. We will scummb to our desire of to be entertain and watch whatever is presented to us. As audience we should be given choice and that does not happen often.

I believe box office success of a movie does depend on the marketing of a movie like a low budgeted movie khosla ka Ghosla with no big staars earned huge return on their investment because of how ell the movies was marketed , the song " ye duniya utt paatanga" was a trending in almost every music channel at that time. Same was with Uri , vicky kaushal wasn't a huge star when it released but it touched on the subject of surgical strike and was very well marketed and it was seen with it's box office return. So star kid or not , sadly it all boils down to the marketing of the movie .

Exactly my thoughts, thank you for voicing it. Bollywood never started with star kids . Bollywood was made by people who struggled a lot to be where they are , it is the next generation and next to next generation who is reaping the benefits. We are to be blamed and not the director or producers who choose to cast them. We want to see them on the screen . But in introspect which start kid is doing well .... none . They face same future after a couple of release . It is the audience who makes or breaks the star. However, we should not forget these star kids too work very hard and have proven their caliber Ranbir kapoor is a big example. So i guess as audience it is our responsibility who we choose to make the star.

While I agree with the points you’ve made, we must also remember that for a large portion of the population the movies are a form of escape. A large part of the population want to see the glamour and be transported from their current reality. The big budget movies provide that (regardless of if star kids act in it or not), so unfortunately there will always be a considerable portion of the population that goes to watch it hoping for some light hearted entertainment.

Very true, but I also feel that these conversations that we are having here, on these platforms are not reaching the masses. And still that is the population which contributes the major percentage to entertainment industry and the aftermath is not reaching them or maybe they are not concerned about it. It's great that we are taking the agenda in our hands now but it's also important that it reaches all and makes sense to all!

Exactly how I feel most people who watch these videos are already aware of the real problem is us who support these non nonsensical movies so most of us either sit out or watch movies with good reviews. But we are in the minority the ones who really influence bollywood movie making are the ones that are not either intelligent or uneducated masses who only watch typical action or comedy movies of Tiger Shroff or Salman Khan with no plot. And I am here talking about Bhaijaan's taxi and riksa chalaane wale fans jinke liye "Bhaijaan dill me aate hai samajh mein nehi."
