Those were the days... the college parties playin' Ms. Tee, Josephine Johnny, Jubilee, 5th Ward Weebie, etc... SO MUCH HAS CHANGED. I miss your city too. You all had the mid nineties on lock!!

I am a white, 47 year New Orleans (born and raised) man from Italian and Cajun blood. I LOVE this city for what it offers. There is great food, great music, great art, great history and great celebrations everywhere. The majority of the people here are loving, respectful, and family-oriented. We are a melting pot of cultures from everyone on this globe. Blacks and whites DO live harmoniously in the same communities and work together in love and respect towards each other. The crap you see on the news, and the crap you see on TH-cam does not truly represent who we are here. We have hundreds of large, people-gathering festivals here in New Orleans spread out throughout the year. There is a festival almost every weekend somewhere in the New Orleans area with thousands of people in attendance. To be fair and accurate, people of all social constructs (Asian, Latino, Black, White, etc.) attend these festivals together in harmony and celebration with very little problems. That's what we live for here in New Orleans.

it's funny. when i was younger i didn't like any bounce music. but as i get a little older, i'm only 23, i realize that i deprived myself of some fun times. whenever i hear this, i just feel good. it doesn't say much, but it's fun and harmless
