- I visited Michael's final resting place in Glendale California at Forest Lawn on June 25 2023. I met fellow TH-camr German in Venice, Nate Aka Retro EO the artist of the Michael Jackson off the wall mural as well as the new Beat It Cafe (Monte Carlo Cafe). It was great meeting everyone as we gathered together as Michael Jackson fans to honor him 14 years after his passing in 2009.

That was such a hard and sad day, 14 years ago, I think I heard the message that Michael has died around 2 pm. What a wonderful great artist, funny, charismatic, with his distinctive voice and unique dancing, his incredible songwriting, an activist, a humanitarian, handsome, attractive, who was able to create magical music videos and performances, a man with an amazing heart and soul. I really thought Michael would live forever, because he was always a part of my life. Now he is a part of my heart forever. I hope Michael you are at peace now! Love you so much!

I am one of the names on the 777 Roses for Michael poster! My name is on the second poster that you see. If you see the name Dara Roberts on there, that's me! I remember exactly where I was 14 years ago yesterday. It was a year after I had graduated high school, and I was getting ready to go to college. That summer was going to originally be the summer where I came back to Michael and his music after the trial and everything. I had planned to follow him on the "This Is It" tour, but we all know what happened after that. When I heard the news, I was in tears. My childhood crush, my first musical love, and the man who I wanted to hug, who I cite as one of my role models was gone. We share the same passion of giving back to others, Disney, music (including The Beatles), singing, dancing, reading, writing, among other things. I was only a baby when he was touring, so I never got to see him in concert, but I did get to see some people that he worked with including Sheryl Crow and Sir Paul McCartney of the Beatles (who I hugged on stage a year after Michael passed away). And no, Paul did not do "Say, Say, Say" or "The Girl Is Mine" unfortunately. After the fifth time of seeing Paul live, I thought about returning to Michael's music, but that didn't happen until seven years later after the COVID-19 pandemic towards the end of my sophomore year in college. "Earth Song" was the very first song that popped into my head, after I heard a jazz version of it at a concert by Dave Koz. And then the words of all the Jackson 5 songs I had heard in my early childhood came back to me, especially "I'll Be There," because that was the song that I would play over and over and have Michael and his brothers sing to me and comfort me as a young girl when I was going through rough times. And that song still comforts me to this very day! And I thought, "As soon as the world wakes up from this pandemic, I'm going back to Michael, I need to have him and his family in my playlist again. Two years later, in July of last year, I finally watched "This Is It" for the first time, and I was crying and smiling when I saw his face on the screen after many years of being away from him for so long!! When he was looking at me through the camera, it's as if he was saying, "Welcome back Dara, I've missed you, girl!" Around the same time, a young man by the name of Myles Frost was performing as him in "MJ The Musical," which I have yet to see soon, so he helped bring the songs back to me, and he helped me re-discover some of his songs. So I guess you could say Michael brought us together musically. I'm hoping and praying that I can see him and other performers that do tributes to him in person, since I didn't get to experience Michael in concert. Let's just say after 13+ years, I'm NEVER leaving him or The Jackson Family for this long EVER again!!! So now, I'm officially a Moonwalker! I've subscribed to your channel, and I can't wait to watch more of your videos! Keep up the good work! Michael will live on forever in our hearts.

Oh, and I did the math on how many times you've been to Forest Lawn and the answer to that is 5 times but you've only been there on June 25th 3 times. You have also been there only 1 time on August 29th and that was from two years ago. Hope I got that right for ya!! I actually feel really bad my grandfather passed the same year Michael did and i honestly had a lot on my mind i had back to back family members pass in the variations between 2004 and 2009 my mind was all over the place. I never got the chance to go to any of his concerts and see him in person but he lives on in all of his true fans hearts he will always be loved and remembered. ❤❤❤❤
