My life is founded in one very important concept you guys both spoke about. There is a purpose, designed higher than me, that takes me to the places I go and the people I meet. Both good and bad. By drugs, drink sex, religion, and yes even other worldly ideas.. judging from the ages of the participants, I would question their use of psychosomatic s in their youths. I remember a historian's answer regarding the myth distinction dilemma lol here's my rough paraphrase: "The difference between Jesus and all the other past resurrected figures is that we have historical documents from contemporaries both secular and religious (e.g. Pliny the Younger, Tacitus, Josephus, and the gospels) attesting to the time, date, place of his life and death--"....was crucified under Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem....." and top archeologists Sir William Ramsey and others say that the writer of the gospel of Luke and the book of Acts (both claim to be written by the only non-jewish writer in the new testament--a greek physican named Luke) is among the top historians of all antiquity if not the best. lol They were first skeptics, but when they exhausted all other avenues to find certain info on 1st century Palestine, they turned to the gospel of Luke and Act and found the places and names located where those books stated and they were bailed out of their conundrums and coconut drums ba ba ba BAAAAAA Cheers~
