just do not play the game for the first half and see their plans crumble, so even if the whales get those pass the player drop count weill be a huge hit to the game as a whole and even the whales would experience longer quee timers. You might also just enjoy another game for the duration or touch grass, it's your choice but not playing the game will hit where it hurts.
Highly doubt that there's going to be big player count drop when there's new map and new weapon lol. Month or two into then perhaps. Either way i don't care, i play for game not skins.

The whole point of being able to continuously earn the the battle pass every season by grinding the season is so that the game keeps player retention. This is a terrible idea for the game no matter what type of player you are. No doubt this will further decrease the player base.

This is BS. If they want to make things right while keeping this double battle pass idea, they've gotta make the premium one cost 950 Apex Coins or $9.99 (giving us the option). For the premium plus (the additional one), we have to pay $9.99 in case of having the premium battle pass, or $19.99 in case of wanting both while not having the premium one. They will benefit from this rather than losing the player count because most people who are still playing are like me, just grinding the battle pass every season, which makes me play with friends, etc...

It rewards players for being committed and completing their passes in that short window of time. It still allows EA to make their $10 every season off of most players (whereas before they didn't always). I was just thinking of how i like apex over other games because of its ability to get the battlepass for free if you were dedicated. other games like rocket league dont do that and i dont see the point in playing a game where you dont get good rewards for playing. probably gonna dwell on uninstalling now

This is one of the worst changes, I always played Apex for the fun of completing challenges, but without a Prium Battle Pass I don't think much of it + $20.99 is too much for me to spend.

Unpopular opinion but I think this is actually a really good change because forever now people have been complaining that the rewards in the BP have not been worth it so by them adding this your now getting more rewards every season which people have been begging for and in the end you don't have to purchase it this new BP still has a free part so if you dont like it don't buy it but honestly even the 20 dollar version as long as you get to level 60 your getting well worth 20 bucks worth of cosmetics and packs and Apex Coins and by getting 2 of these every season their really ramping up the rewards you get per season so honestly in my opinion this is a W by EA
I've been playing this game since day one and I've played every season. I hated the last season because they didn't focus on the game's problems and instead sold us more and more cosmetics and other crap. Anyways i think i hit level 50 on the battle pass this season? Ive played and completed every season since the first one, but have lost interest because of the state of the game. Also Battle pass was supremely mid.
Think I will play that first split and then ignore the second half when August comes. I know people have FOMO and whatnot but I have learned to simply not care especially when trashy practices like this come about.
Unpopular opinion but I think this is actually a really good change because forever now people have been complaining that the rewards in the BP have not been worth it so by them adding this your now getting more rewards every season which people have been begging for and in the end you don't have to purchase it this new BP still has a free part so if you dont like it don't buy it but honestly even the 20 dollar version as long as you get to level 60 your getting well worth 20 bucks worth of cosmetics and packs and Apex Coins and by getting 2 of these every season their really ramping up the rewards you get per season so honestly in my opinion this is a W by EA

I've been playing this game since day one and I've played every season. I hated the last season because they didn't focus on the game's problems and instead sold us more and more cosmetics and other crap. They're killing the game and if the premium season pass has to be bought on the store, I'll have to say goodbye for good.... 🖐️🙄
If you are playing a game purely for the battlepass you need to takw a step back

If they want money they need to add new modes and new maps! They are constantly taking away modes and features and they now think that a 6year old game is some how worth more than ever 😂
Why do people overreact so much. They made it better for free to play players, and you can just buy one of the battle passes per season if you care that much. You literally get better rewards in one of the half season battle passes than you did in the original battlepass
They saw brawl stars and how they did it and were like, ‘time to copy them like epic copied us!’
welp RIP apex im the same only reason i play is because i want to complete the seasons BP to get the following sesassons free .no point in playing anymore for me. Thanks EA for ruining another game i loved.
EA is so good at self distraction its insane
But our money isn't just paying for a battle pass, it's also funding seasonal content and changes. Are we going to get more content and updates per season now? We are paying double per season now after all
They aren’t going to use the money to make the gameplay experience any better, so why pay so bother paying more?
There's nothing to be happy about unless if you enjoy spending lots of money on apex

I believe that whoever is saying that it is poverty on the part of others who will not be able to pay for the pass, is very apathetic, everyone's reality is different and so are their conditions, EA has not gone so far as to highlight countries that are not first world in this issue. .

i uninstalled the game a month or two back bc i jut wasn’t playing it much, but i just redownloaded it last night bc i wanted too play, but honestly hearing the changes too the battle pass this makes me wanna just uninstall it again, i’m not seeing a point too play
As long one of the reactive skin in the split battle pass I won’t spend for another battle pass in the same season that just dumb asf
