That song is about the very first home. Like for most Ukrainians is that home where we left our childhood and we still remember it after we grew up. And as for me my first home was with my grandfather at the village, so yeah. I miss those days.

The title phonetically is Dodomu. Those are Ds. and the y is pronounced 'oo" or u. The o's are pronounced as "long o" like in "home". 2nd syllable is emphasized. I am trying to learn the language.......it's not easy!
