Awesome video! I enjoyed watching your trip. I would like to hike the entire JMT one day. 😊

Very cute. A nice mellow set of adventure films. Love your choice of music. After 5 weeks of isolation, this was a very nice treat. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm pretty sure those plants with purple flowers growing among the burned trees at 12:12 are the well-known, and dreaded, "poodle dog bush" (going on descriptions I've read; never seen the stuff myself). Did you brush against it and have any skin reaction? It is supposed to be similar to poison ivy or poison oak. Great video series! I live in LA and you have convinced me I have to do part of this trail -- though I doubt I will do the whole thing as I am old enough that I don't need big physical challenges any more. 🤣

Good to know! Thankfully I didn't touch it, I try not to disturb the flora too much. I think in the future I'll stick to doing parts of the trail as well, I'm not sure if my lingering injuries can take another 3 week long backpacking trip haha.

I really enjoyed your JMT videos. I'm going to do it solo for my 65th birthday. Really looking forward to it.
