I ran across your channel a few days ago and I found it very interesting, entertaining and informative. I've binge watched a good number of your recent videos and I enjoy the down home approach that ya'll have with your videos and I subscribed. Good chemistry between you both and you seem like you really enjoy the journey and the road as well. Great videos, great channel.
Luckily I didn’t have any wheel marks. What’s crazy is that the TST sensors aren’t much bigger than the factory tire linc sensors and we didn’t have this issue. Oh well problem all fixed finally haha
We got stuck driving in the outer bands of Debbie in Florida just outside of Tampa. It was an amazing amount or rain and we ended up diverting over to Camp margaritaville in Lakeland and turned a stressful travel day into a a spur of the moment the moment extended trip! It was crazy how the Trailer shook and moved in those winds at the the camp site.
I bought a Milwaukee tire inflator about a year ago and wouldn’t go anywhere without it. Virginia Beach is one of our favorite places with its nice boardwalk, and all of the military bases around it. I love hearing the afterburners on an F-18 when it’s taking off. Keep your eyes on the horizon and you just might see the navy seals jumping from a c-130 into the ocean, or a submarine leaving Norfolk.
Great video! We’ve been in that tunnel and it’s creepy! I wish every driver had to pull a large trailer to understand how long it takes to stop! Stay safe!!
When you sprayed yourself I saw them t!res laughing at you. Use some vinegar to clean the sink drain gate valve if you still have it. Stay safe and healthy.
Sorry about your valve stem problem. After your 1st problem a day after, I had the same problem. Had to change on the side of the hyw in the rain.now I had the same thing yesterday, but it was in a rest area on asphalt and sunny. What's strange is that the spare has a brass valve stem. We love your videos, and Angela's jokes keep them coming. Love you guys
Your channel just keeps getting better each week. Girl you are so entertaining, a TH-cam comedian for sure. The valve was a great upgrade too much poop going through the valves I agree change it. Who said Rv life was easy?😂 NAPA know how, right?

That's RV life fixing your RV and Truck in different places LoL. I am gonna have to get me one of those Milwaukee inflator's I carry a small 3gal Kobalt compressor in my basement but it struggles to air up the large tires on our rig. Stay Safe
Have you tried adding water softener tablets to your back tank, and if you can get them into your gray tank, about 1/2 cup each. You won’t believe how much easier your tank valves will operate. Also black tank material will flow out much better.
RV Miles pod cast channel just posted a video about their 2021 f350 7.3 Tremor that started having misfire issues at 72k miles and now they're driving a diesel as it was going to cost $12k to fix. Hope it's not the same issue and the wires fix it.
I was just about to post a similar comment on the same podcast and figured I'd scroll through to see if it was already made. Hopefully, you're spared the cost of replacing Big Blue.
The stock wires on my Chevy actually fell apart at 50K miles when I took them off. I use the best performance cables from rock auto and they are much cheaper then factory and hold up much better.
That’s crazy! I replaced my stock wires with factory wires the first time and the longevity wasn’t any better. Fingers crossed on the Napa wires. I should’ve checked rock auto. I’ve had good luck with them in the past. I completely forgot about them!
Welcome to South East VA! Yes, the traffic is horrible getting here and driving around 😄. You were actually on I-64 coming into the Hampton Roads area. Lots of water means lots of bridge and tunnels. Tunnels are a requirement of the US Navy. I am surprised they questioned why you stopped for the tunnel. All RV's with propane are required to stop. They will close the tunnel to all traffic to stop the RV that passed the inspection station, then pull the RV aside to do the inspection. Really hope you had time to enjoy the area while you were here.
Hope ya got the truck sorted out …… hopefully just plugs n wires . I’ve heard folks having lifter /valve train issues with the 7.3 once they get around the 100k mark. Hopefully yalls is not anything serious.

Hey great video maintenance is always the biggest cost on RV life. I just spent $3500.00 on my air ride system in my 3500 RAM. I normally repair all the things on my truck and fifth wheel, but this system is filled with nitrogen. You have to have special equipment to replace the compressor. Just a little FYI if you’re ever looking at RAM for a truck. It has been the best truck I ever owed but the cost of repairs are extremely high.
Excellent! I have looked at some and test drove one, not too long ago. I was getting frustrated that Ford wasn’t trying to make deals. Hopefully, I get to make that call on my terms. We’ll see how the economy changes I guess.
Ain’t it fun changing plugs and wires. I always scarp a knuckle or two. I have diesel now so no plugs but then I don’t work on diesel and will have to pay the man. Good videos. Stay dry
I rely on our tire monitor to keep up with air pressure i purchased a combo air compressor and jump box. Deisel dooesnt have spark plugs to worry about
You guys....i was having heart failure the whole episode last week with the rock climbing adventure! Were you super sore? Epic venture for sure! Marilyn C
I’m surprised you were able to go through that tunnel. Baltimore tunnels restrict propane. On the flip side, if you don’t like heights, you would have HATED the Francis Scott Key Bridge. I found it terrifying and avoided it at all costs for the last 20 years. Last time we crossed it was 2004 towing our 30’ trailer in a nor’easter. I thought we would blow off the bridge. If your journey continues south, beware of the awful condition of Rt 95 in South Carolina. It will leave you shaken.
@@Itsa_Mea true for the Bay Bridge Tunnel which is Rt 13. The video referenced Rt 95 and a sign was for Fort McKinley which is Baltimore. No propane in Baltimore unless something has changed in the last month. Been through there many times including twice in July, ‘24.
What did you 2 think of that KOA? We normally stay at First Landing which is great except no sewer hookup. When you're camping with 3 women taking showers and a tankless never ending water heater, the grey tank fills quick!😂
Oh goodness, I bet! It was a nice campground, although we really didn’t use it. Honestly, that was a really bad week for us personally, so we stayed in a lot. They had a super nice pool and lazy river, a neat playground area, nice laundry and store, regular shuttles. They did a good job with it. I think there was even a treetop/zip line place right behind it.
Sometimes Ford parts are better. Sometimes aftermarket is better than OEM. The trick is figuring out when to buy what. A mechanic at a shop told me that. I definitely found it to be true.
Cody, having grown up in the area that you were traveling in this video I need to point out that when you were mentioning how bad the traffic is on I95 you were about 60 miles from I95 on I64 east. but it's all good cause the traffic on 64 is almost as bad as 95. I would have liked to have met y'all in person during your stay but I guess another time and place once I finally get my rig out of the repair shop. one other question, why do you adjust the air pressure with changes in Temps? it seems to me to be better to adjust to the pressure you want after about 50 miles of travel, then the pressure will be where you want it for traveling and you won't need to add air when the temp drops and remove it once the tires warm up from travel. Just a thought. I really enjoy your videos so keep them coming and travel safe.
Chevys are just as bad for the back two plugs on a V8. You need to take the wheel well covers off. Those back two also fail early. We do the plug wire and plug changes every 50k miles. Also change cabin air filters every year and engine filters.
Don’t know if this is helpful or not, but I happened to notice some comments about audio and tried listening with ear buds in to see if I noticed a difference. I hardly ever use ear buds so playing the video from my phone sounded perfectly fine. But when I put my ear buds in, I did notice the change from L to R on a couple occasions. But nothing that would cause me to click off the video. Honestly, I wouldn’t have even noticed it had I not seen the comments. Anyway, we understand getting the mics & audio right is hard, & there’s no way to get it perfect for every device. But sounds fine from our phone & TV 😊 Hey and don’t feel bad! We suck at audio so much our videos end up as silent films and then we have to re-record the whole thing! 🤦🏻♀️ Also…..Tires! 😜
That IS helpful, thanks! We started to determine that it was likely the L/R which we were aware of, because we edit and final on both headphones and on a tv. But we were surprised Ch how many it impacted. So it’s concerning. I think it’s because I say nasty things about the mics a lot. 🤣🤣 We keep having to replace or fox things on it and it’s frustrating. I believe it’s 90% user error though. Lol.
@@RVUntethered It’s 100% user error on my end! 😂 I think sometimes viewers don’t quite see the full learning curve behind creating content on YT. A lot of times they’re trying to be helpful, but sometimes others don’t have the patience or grace to see that YT isn’t a platform full of Hollywood Cinematic pros. We’re just a couple RVer’s with a camera and a gmail account 😜 It’s a lot to manage! Which is why we have to pay people to manage some of ours now lol We couldn’t keep up! Anyway, hope you figure it out! Wish we were more help in that dept, but it’s not awful on our end. ☺️ -Val
@@OurNextAdventurejvh Haha! The comments didn't bother us, truly! I think they all had good intentions. I figure if one person says it, 20 thought it. I'd much rather know. You just want to put out a good product and when it's subpar, we get in our feels about it. haha. Thanks for the help! It DOES make a difference on why we are getting mixed reviews on it.
@@RVUntethered Oh for sure! Same here! Just meant that there’s a few that get mad about small things sometimes. But yes, for the most part it’s constructive feedback to help us all improve.
Hi Cody & Angie, my husband and I love to watch your adventures - there is always something fun and unexpected. Can you tell me where you bought your sticker map of the US that you have on your RV slide?
That’s so sweet. Thank you! This is the link we used for ours, but our particular style hasn’t been available for years. ☹️ So the link doesn’t lead to ours, but it does show you some similar products. Sorry I’m not more help! We get a lot of requests for it, but I think we got lucky with it. I haven’t found many that are even similar. amzn.to/4dTYKrC
Love your videos, but one little observation... when Angela's voice is in the left channel only and Cody's is in the right channel only, it really messes with my ears when listening through earbuds. I might be the only one though, so maybe see what others think. Don't mean to be critical. I love watching you guys. Always entertaining!
I bought the Dewalt tire inflator and it was horrible at battery usage. I took it back and got the Milwaukee and it is so much better, but loud for sure
Interesting. You think the battery life is better then? I don’t put too much hope in a long battery life in any power tool. Ha! I just buy more back ups! 😂
The Dewalt wouldn't even inflate 1 tire 20psi. I used the Milwaukee and did all 4 tires on the trailer and the 6 on the truck with the same sized battery. Way better battery usage
Love your videos. Since a I’ve seen you using the Rode microphones, I have an issue sometimes with your audio dropping while I watch you via Apple TV through my TV and stereo system. I thought maybe it had to do with my equipment, but it only seems to be your videos. For example, the audio gets really quiet at around 15:48 in this video and in other areas. I wonder if it has anything to do with how you edit, or handle the audio? Anyway, just wanted you to know. Most people probably don’t watch through a TV/Stereo system with surround sound 5.1 audio. The audio was fine on my IPAD.
Thanks for this (the times help a lot). We knew we were having issues like a faulty cord we had to replace and they accidentally split L/R which MAY have been why some had issues and some didn’t? That’s the only thing that makes sense on the surround sound to me. I’m hoping we have it remedied but we have some digging to do.
@@RVUntethered if I get a chance I’ll test it on another tv setup that also has stereo, to rule out something on my side. Did you guys go through Maryland yet?
@@christopherwhyte2360 We are 99% sure it is the media mount. We thought that somehow..someway, we were separating it while filming but it started to get more erratic. Now we know that it was cutting out and back in throughout ALL of our filming and by watching our shadows, we weren't touching anything.. We replaced the cord, but it's the mount. I wish there was a good way to use them without that, but if this doesn't do it, it's the mic.

@@mscarlarnDon’t be sorry! I’m hoping we fixed it soon and THOUGHT we remedied it better than this, but I’m gathering not. I love technology..I love technology! 😉😁
The traffic in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach etc. is MISERABLE. Some of the worst that I have ever seen . Hell, even Google maps was confused! It's my mantra lately: "It's always SOMETHING!!"
Cody, did you replace your stock wheels when you upgraded to 110 psi tires? I changed out mine in 2019 and Discount Tire in Omaha advised me that 110 psi rated wheels were required. I followed their advice and they also provided steel valve stems that worked with my TST monitor. So far, no issues. I have had issues with spring hanger welds breaking though... keep an eye on them with the stiffer sidewall tires.
Probably worth further investigation.... considering pressure on a hot day.... you did say you wanted new wheels.... I'm trying to help with justifying them to the other half....😉
T*%&s S U C K !! A very expensive weak link. Get you some DC111 grease. Good for water filter / softener o-rings and keeping those darn valves from getting too gummy and operating freely. Thanks for another great video.
Good morning Watch RV Miles last You Tube Video? They have a 2021 f350 with the 7.3 gas engine. They have had the same problem as you with spark plug wires in the past. They have 70,000 miles on there truck. Started having same problem with a miss. They finally went to an independent Ford mechanic and they told them this 7.3 engine is well known for camshaft and lifter failure very common problem. Ford should have done a recall. Not good news. Watch his TH-cam video. Then you can do your own research on keeping the truck. Ford replaces the engine when it’s under warranty. Good luck but do some research on your engine before it costs you thousands of dollars.

Fun fact in the state of New Jersey at Wawa locations you are not aloud to pump your own gas . I didn’t know this until I went for my job training
We had heard that, but completely forgot! We are headed to that state soon!
But you can pump your own diesel. Our Wawas even have self serve signs to encourage it.
Love the jokes :)
😁
Chevys are just as bad for the back two plugs on a V8. You need to take the wheel well covers off. Those back two also fail early. We do the plug wire and plug changes every 50k miles. Also change cabin air filters every year and engine filters.
Good call! Man, it’s like they don’t really want you working on it, but the mechanic has to do it too!
But sounds fine from our phone & TV 😊
Hey and don’t feel bad! We suck at audio so much our videos end up as silent films and then we have to re-record the whole thing! 🤦🏻♀️
Also…..Tires!
Lol.
@@RVUntethered
It’s 100% user error on my end! 😂
I think sometimes viewers don’t quite see the full learning curve behind creating content on YT. A lot of times they’re trying to be helpful, but sometimes others don’t have the patience or grace to see that YT isn’t a platform full of Hollywood Cinematic pros. We’re just a couple RVer’s with a camera and a gmail account 😜
It’s a lot to manage! Which is why we have to pay people to manage some of ours now lol
We couldn’t keep up!
Anyway, hope you figure it out!
Wish we were more help in that dept, but it’s not awful on our end. ☺️

@@RVUntethered
Oh for sure! Same here! Just meant that there’s a few that get mad about small things sometimes. But yes, for the most part it’s constructive feedback to help us all improve.
@@OurNextAdventurejvh We figured it out. It was our media mount. I think that makes #5, or #7....grr.

Love your videos, but one little observation... when Angela's voice is in the left channel only and Cody's is in the right channel only, it really messes with my ears when listening through earbuds. I might be the only one though, so maybe see what others think. Don't mean to be critical. I love watching you guys. Always entertaining!
Ha yes we discovered that we have a media mount that was faulting out. We thought we had it remedied but it continued. We have it replaced now.
Did I mention TIRES??
I bought the Dewalt tire inflator and it was horrible at battery usage. I took it back and got the Milwaukee and it is so much better, but loud for sure
Interesting. You think the battery life is better then?
I don’t put too much hope in a long battery life in any power tool. Ha! I just buy more back ups! 😂
The Dewalt wouldn't even inflate 1 tire 20psi. I used the Milwaukee and did all 4 tires on the trailer and the 6 on the truck with the same sized battery. Way better battery usage
@@mikegould7180 Oh goodness! That really surprises me! Good info!
Good morning!! Hope the hurricane didn’t bother y’all to bad.
I am sure several have told y’all that one of your microphones isn’t working well at all.
Till next time. Xoxo
😊We had a media mount and mic cord that malfunctioned.
@@RVUntethered sorry to mention it. Xoxo
Some of the worst that I have ever
seen . Hell, even Google maps was confused! It's my mantra lately: "It's always SOMETHING!!"
Haha

Cody, did you replace your stock wheels when you upgraded to 110 psi tires?
I changed out mine in 2019 and Discount Tire in Omaha advised me that 110 psi rated wheels were required. I followed their advice and they also provided steel valve stems that worked with my TST monitor. So far, no issues. I have had issues with spring hanger welds breaking though... keep an eye on them with the stiffer sidewall tires.
No we went with the stock tires. Checked with GD and discount tire didn’t have an issue with it. No problems so far (fingers crossed)
Probably worth further investigation.... considering pressure on a hot day.... you did say you wanted new wheels.... I'm trying to help with justifying them to the other half....😉
The devil made me do it sorry ( tire , tire , tire !!!! )
🤣🤣
T*%&s S U C K !! A very expensive weak link. Get you some DC111 grease. Good for water filter / softener o-rings and keeping those darn valves from getting too gummy and operating freely. Thanks for another great video.
😂 I’ll check that out! Thanks!
yall are too cute wish yall could be my children or grand children

Good morning
Watch RV Miles last You Tube Video?
Oh goodness! It is running smoothly now, so I’m hoping this is it!
You are having audio difficulties.
We thought that it was just an accidental setting push or a faulty cord. We realize now that our entire media piece was going out and flip flopping. ☹️☹️
It isn’t bad outside of earbuds, but thank you for your patience while we remedy. We have a new one now, so SOON!

🤣
Somebody say TIRES
Open Roading just put a video out about Carlisle tires on their RV. Not good
I saw that but haven’t watched it yet. Geez. We’ve had good luck so far but the bad things is that you don’t know until it’s too late.
@@RVUntethered the latest issue they had looked like retread issues you see semi tires have with the tread coming off, it was still holding air strangely

LOVE watching your videos but your audio has almost caused several heart attacks. We may have to stop watching if it doesn’t get fixed😢
Turn your volume down? The audio is actually really good imo
@@tylerschoonover101 then we can’t hear what they are saying. We have to watch with the volume control in our hands. We like watching them but the volume situation is not good.
Thanks for letting us know. ☹️We did find some equipment that we had to replace, so hopefully it will improve. Technology is great when it works, right?
I understand the feeling of listening to something and feeling frustrated throughout. If one person says it, several think it.
😉We’ll work on it.
😉It’s all good. It is primarily if you are wearing earbuds, it IS different. We thought it was a setting or faulty cord, but we had a major piece of equipment that went down and was flip flopping. We edited and finalized the video differently, so we didn’t catch it.
