It's kinda symbolic with the backstory behind this animation.
Mar's creator used to work with Gildedguy and did some animation in ep4, but some time ago a certain controversy happened.
Long story short, It was something about 'inappropriate advances to his cohorts, some who were minors', (idk the full story, just paraphrasing what I heard). Gilded tried many times in the past to try and help him, but he kept pushing him away, and later disappeared from the internet completely.
The child stabbing Mar symbolises how it was a little too late for Mar to receive help after all he's done. And promptly sink into the ground, never to be seen from again.

So, just to be sure, what is Mar’s Story exactly?

@@johanstenfelt1206 Aspects are up to interpretation, but from what the animation shows and how I interpret it: Mar’s dragon terrorizing the towns leaves a traumatic impact on himself. Mar refuses help seeing as the horrible acts his dragon has done have demonized him in the eyes of the people around him. Mar fully accepts the dragon, believing that it’s too late to turn back. He seals his fate and is dragged to hell/banished for his actions by the people who were victims of the dragon of Mar.
