He has to go! NRL has to put their foot down on this behaviour! 3 players this year driving under the influence of drugs and now 3 innocent people have been hurt. Also cut the “mental health” crap! No one buys it! These are just over paid over privileged footballers who think they can do whatever they want!
It’s hard to sympathise with people when they play the mental health card for self-inflicted issues, let alone issues that put other innocent peoples lives in danger. It’s different when someone loses a family member or they experience hardship that wasn’t their fault, but when they’re in the wrong, I feel very little empathy tbh.
Only right decision is to terminate his contract. A mistake is putting your shirt on backwards, not nearly taking the life of an individual cause your driving with drugs in your system
Corey Parker coming out in full support is one thing. Whilst I applaud trying to have the club stick with your player over trying to rebuild his ‘character’ as a person, there’s not just the Mam party involved but a seperate party involved that has resulted in injury. As good as Parker’s intentions are, it is not up to the board to make a decision on his career until the authorities have given their verdict. Only then will the NRL followed by the Broncos board will deliver their course of action, Parker has no clue that this is not an NRL issue. The culture issue at that club is the board and the ‘old boys’ mollycoddling ‘their mate’ as coach, ‘their superstar’ player who made a “mistake”. The old boys dipping their 2 cents in and believing they are right is the problem. Tallis. Webcke. Lockyer. Parker. They’re the cultural problem, feeding the egos of their show ponies..
They keep using terms like mistake and incident to try and downplay the fact that he was unlicensed, on the gear, and drove into oncoming traffic which resulted in a crash. An incident infer there's no harm or injury caused as the result of an accident. As if a 4 year old in hospital with a broken hip isn't that bad.
The NRL have no right to charge anyone of "bringing the game into disripute" if they do not suspended Ezra Mam for a year. The compounding crimes he committed and the people he has physically/mentally injured is untorable.
Should’ve shown a little forgiveness and shook Lenius hand when an apology was extended. I bet he wants the general public and league community to show him some now he’s in this position.
Mams holier than thou attitude around that situation is a bloody joke considering how he's composed himself during the off season. First comes under investigation for his actions in Bali, and now this. If the NRL don't step in, it sets a terrible precedent that players are above the law.
From holy saint at the start of the season in Vegas to holy crap at the end of the season in Brisbane. Spencer is probably seating in a couch somewhere asking for someone to hold his beer while catching up with the news 😂😂
Good luck to Madge to try and deal with this club. But I smell a cover up with CEO starting to talk, sounds like they'll try to sweep the Ezra issue under the carpet. Also, Dobbo as a reporter needs to be impartial and not biased, to repeatedly keep mentioning that it was a mistake and keep asking the same question but in different ways.
Who will be held accountable for Mam's behaviour..? Only Kevvie's lost his job so far, but this incident has put a spotlight on the external rumours of a "cultural problem" within' the Club... Standards either don't exist, or haven't been enforced by the leaders within the Club.. With the arrival of Madge, now is the time to clean up the entire operation, top to bottom...
As a Broncos fan we should sack him and free up that 1 million a year we are paying Mam and buy a consistent half. Sorry he had one great season but this season he was terrible!
@haroldhopkins7719 We have had enough problems of our own with the likes of May etc. No player that can't control their off field discipline of what Mann has shown deserves another opportunity to do so. He is fortunate that no one was killed.

@@Fawkyoutube not really mate. Ezra was racially attacked by Spencer, in these politically correct times, Ezra could garner a great deal of support and claiming mental health issues would definitely allow him not to face ny harsh penalties.
It won't be up to the Broncos or the NRL if he's convicted of driving without a licence, being drugged out of his tiny little brain and causing an accident resulting in a girl with a broken hip. Just a bit of context here - he's looking down the barrel of a maximum penalty of FOURTEEN years in gaol!
jail time, then see with the nrl. Players need to take responsibility for their actions (it is called adulthood) and be dealt with like regular citizens. They might hopefully learn something from that. But we live in a very strange world...

Is Mam in rehab because he's admitting he's got a drug problem? If he's got a drug problem then surely he's been using drugs for a while. If he's been using drugs for a while then he shouldn't be playing NRL.
Broncos is currently looking like a train wreck of a club ... Something like the tigers or dragons in recent years ... Lets see where they go from here. Are the CEO and Chairman not accountable for these serious cultural issues in any way whatsoever?? 🤔

Mitchell Pearce gets fined 100k+ for messing around with a dog - not ideal, but no one hurt, least of all the dog. If Broncos remotely serious, he should be fined at least that. He won’t be, of course.
It’s sad what has happened, I feel for the injured parties, I believe in giving second chances but I think he needs to be stood down without pay until he shows he has turned his life around. If he fails the broncos need to terminated his contract. The whole club needs to stop this party boy attitude and fix the culture now
Can't wait to hear all there excuses in 2025, these clowns are next years wooden spoon. And honestly what a joke him going to rehab is, the sole reason hes doing it is for his public image, not because he cares about what he did.

Talk around Brisbane is ,The young girl has a shattered hip. This changes that young girls life forever
Terminate his contract driving unlicensed off his head on drugs and smashing a car head on with a toddler in it is disgraceful.
Won't happen cause he's too important a player for the Broncs. Would be a much different outcome if Mam was a benchplayer.
