1:31:15, this track offset is exactly how it is on the Abrams tank, its done so they can have torsion bars that can go across the entire width of the vehicle for its suspension, because the amount of flex is proportional to the length of said torsion bars.
At Massey’s the flame trench wall has been leaking since the beginning in the 2 wall joints nearest to the QD edge on the left wall as you are looking towards Mexico. When you were trying to answer the question you did not have the right pictures up to see it but I have been following this issue from the start. One joint just looks damp usually but the closest one has enough at times to stream water down the trench ramp.
I'm guessing that the opening in the factory wall facing the office building will be utilized once the property not owned by SpaceX is owned by SpaceX and not as a connection to the office building
I don't see any cable spools for the chopsticks or cable spool for the elevator in the Tower 2 yard yet. Wouldn't be totally wild to think that for $10-20M they will have a tunnel for the LOX to be loaded down the road from the OLS Tank Farm.
Approx 1hr in - ablative tile on top makes no sense in terms of rapid reusability - the whole point of an ablative tile is that it burns away taking the heat with it. As such, if the ablative tiles were the outermost part of the heat shield, they would need to be frequently replaced, if not every flight then certainly every second or third flight imho. Doesn't make for a rapid turn-around of the ship. Another thought - if the new "thicker & stronger" ceramic tiles are on top of the ablative tiles underneath, how will the ceramic tiles be fixed to the ship - separate pins or glued to the ablative tiles beneath. If the former, no problem if a ceramic tile comes off, it the latter could the ceramic tile compromise the ablative tile beneath when it comes off??
Offset crawlers on large cranes: Increased Stability: When lifting incredibly heavy loads, a crane needs all the stability it can get. Offsetting the crawlers creates a wider base for the crane, which helps distribute the weight more evenly and reduces the risk of tipping. Imagine a triangle - the wider the base, the more stable it is. The offset crawlers achieve a similar effect. Improved Maneuverability on Uneven Terrain: Construction sites aren't always flat and smooth. Offset crawlers allow the crane to "crab" sideways, which means it can move diagonally without needing to turn completely. This is particularly useful on uneven ground or in tight spaces where a full rotation might be difficult.
I disagree with all of these theories sorry. Offsetting them does not make a wider base in any meaningful way. Simply adding the 6-12 inches and keeping them aligned would do better at this every time. This absolutely does not give any sort of crabbing capability. Not diagonally or an inch in any direction except directly forward or backward relative to each track. Personally i think its just the same torsion suspension used on the M1 Abrams, which also have this offset in their tracks.
Great photos and great flyover as always - appreciate what you all do and your time. That said, I really think you should consider swapping Stephanie hosting with Todd. Or make amends with Thomas, because he was the GOAT. I appreciate what Stephanie has to say when I can understand him, but that's rare. It isn't the accent, he constantly mumbles and slurs his words to the point that I can only understand one or two words out of several sentences. It isn't personal - but he needs to not host and take a role where he can focus on improving his presenting skills and voice. Todd is far more articulate and understandable. Steph would be fine for side commentary but he's not host material. Presentation does matter so I hope you'll understand this is intended to be constructive and not an insult to Steph. I can promise you I'm not alone in thinking this and have even skipped some episodes because of it.
sorry guys latest utube anti adblock feed is making it basically unusable for me... I rather stop watching it than being force-fed hours of that crap. Please start streaming somewhere else!
Good stuff narrators. Learnt a lot (again!)
Thank you 😊

Tnx for your explanation 😊
Superb stream again - amazing photos and great commentary. Thanks all.

Great show guys as always! So much work is put into these streams!

I figured it out, they are going to lift ship 26 into the triangle so it is sticking out the roof of the office building

Looking at the office building open triangle section. Could Star Hopper fit in that open section? Just a thought.
hmmmm Maybe hoppy is going in the triangle in the new office building ?
What if those footings by office building are to match the other sides angled section?
And I have never heard anyone in America call the ground floor and the first floor two different floors

@@Vatsyayana87Very clever explanation of the tension method.
Great stream today!

No, The British call the bottom floor the Ground floor. USA calls the bottom floor the first floor. Keep trying, you'll get it.
Yes, USA say many things different to UK an Aussies.
We are aware.
Why does that one guy just say "agreed" to everything
I was trying a new way to avoid talking over each other. 😊

Yall should consider ads for these 😂
WTF absolutely not lol, what's wrong with you?

Thank you for your feedback.
Most people seem to be able to understand me.
With that said, a little more concentration on my voice may be needed.
Also, She/her please.
why does that dude always sound like he is stopped up with a head cold?
We all have a unique way of speaking. No one is perfect.
Let's have a voice recording from you and compare - no doubt you sound terrible.
no disrespect or offense intended, just commenting
