My mate fainted a couple songs into their set and it was so packed he didn't even have room to fall over. I had to bail out of the front rows I couldn't fkn breathe lmao
Same here bro was chaotic was 3 rows from the stage after about 5 songs got out of there. Was so hard to breathe. Had 6 people drop to floor passed out was scary shit. Still fun as ever tho. Would give it another crack.
Would've been right behind you about halfway through and the crowd was crazy, could barely breathe the entire time but it was awesome! First time seeing them live for me and it was all I could've hoped for.
Oh for sure! It was really awesome experience. It was actually my 2nd time but my first time i was sitting. 2nd tine was both scary and amazing haha. But you know what, amdst the chaos i felt rejuvenated and stress free after the concert man. It was fucken awesome. I hope they will another one next year.
@jeffditch7873 Yeah same man. Even though the last 4 songs were a struggle the feeling after it all ended was amazing. Just pure happiness for me, was gonna see them when they were coming with Metallica but it got cancelled so I've been waiting years.
wasz dead centre of clown about 15-25 metres back. when everyone pushed over from PWD me and my mates got crushed, then when slipknot started playing disasterpiece, that was a totally different story hahahah
Brooo it was chaotic in the first part. A lot of people in the center near the front actually backed out. Good thing the crowd got tired and I think Corey announced to have a little bit of order and then it mellowed down. But it was a fucken awesome night. I hope there will be one next year.
@@jeffditch7873 Yup that’s exactly where I was. I got crushed at one point and thought I had taken my final breath until this big bloke single handedly yanked everyone up including me, just because that’s what you do at a gig like this. Don’t think he realised he saved my life.
@@ShammyMaccaz yeah man.. actually the big blokes are more behaved. A lot of big blokes are protecting the girls and the smaller ones. Good crowd actually. Except the first few minutes.
@@jeffditch7873 For sure. I flew over from New Zealand for this one, so being close to the front for at least the start was important to me. It was short lived but boy, once I got out of the war zone and the adrenaline kicked in I was just ecstatic, as I have always wanted to be apart of one of their hectic crowds that I have seen on TH-cam countless times… or at least I thought that’s what I wanted 😅 I wish I could relive that moment again, and at the same time rewinding it in my head over and over has been giving me PTSD🤣🤣🤣
I would’ve been pretty close to you here I think mate, ended up needing to vacate further back after Corey made the call for security as I was getting crushed along with some other girls. Wouldn’t trade it for anything though, craziest night of my life!! We can officially say we were at the first ever Knotfest Australia!!
@@jeffditch7873 It’s actually Jay Weinberg! He hosted a little meet and greet/signing at a little local music store the day before Knotfest Melbourne, absolutely lovely guy! KILLED it on the drums on Friday too! 🤘🏻

You did very well to get this. I legitimately nearly died.
Thanks man! We survived! The crowd got tired eventually haha
Hahahaa exactly the same thing in Sydney tonight
@@senvid9640 oh shittt! Rock on brother!
I miss this day lots
Are you going to good things festival? Corey Taylor will be there.
@@jeffditch7873haha yes I did go to good things in sydney this month! I was front row and loved every second of it
This was legitimately the best experience of my life

No one remembers because no one took a video of it. Naah just kidding hehe

You've done well with filming, I was abit to the left of ya and the crowd was fucked could barely stand
