Jason you might want to get one of those cheap runner rugs to put down when Sawyer comes through it'll help him walk you can always roll it back up and store it out of the way if you don't want it down there.
Jared my Brother... nice work .... hey when doing trim work on corrugated metal , take a piece of the roofing metal and outline the corrugation onto the trim and it will fit Like a glove and look awesome .... that's what I've done .. and it looks nice and no gaps

I like the way the stained wood looks , I think it will add contrast and make the loft pop , the white trim kind of gets lost up there .it looks unfinished even though it is , take a look at the video just for reference, but overall looks awesome.
I know Sawyer is an old dog and has trouble getting around, especially on the slippery flooring. I have an old dog with the same issues, you might try trimming his nails. I know it worked well for my dog,

I love the white paint. The wall looks like on continuous unit from the lower wall. When you are closer to be getting done. Try some carpet squares on the floor to help sawyer. Looks awesome!! I like the idea of repeating the stained trim all the way down. That’s what I thought you were going to do, but was confused when you put up the white trim. I think putting the repeating stained trim will hide the crack along the back wall much better, imho.
You guys sure paint neatly..I would have it all over the tin m floor unless I tape it off. That wall up there makes the entire area look larger. I think by putting the trim like the other will match it will be uniformly.
Looking good. Gonna say it again, incase you missed it. I'd put the tin under the lofts. Atleast the one over kitchen area. It will also protect you from a cooking fire. I think anyway lol I live on the city. 🤣

Personally, I would pull off the white trim and do the stain...it's only 4 boards. Either way it looks pretty good bro! Hope you finish the underside of the loft too with shiplap, however, your supervisors may not agree with it being painted white or stained lol. You do your thang bubba. Have a great day!!

I suspect that if you carefully put some painter's tape on the corrugated ceiling material, you could fill the voids between the trim and the ceiling with caulk or something to eliminate the 'snaggle-tooth' look, then pull off the tape to leave a neat line. This would also solve the 'spider cave' problem. I don't know whether you would want to bother with this, but wonder what you think about it.
Doing a great job, maybe get some kind of cheap carpet for the pup to walk on ..just a thought that's all...if you do like a runner not a full size carpet..
