Thank you for this rendition... brought back the memories of my uncle's funeral, how much he suffered through his cancer relapse but in the end found solace in the Lord. Throughout his battle with his bouts of pain, he managed to find comfort when he heard his favourite hymns such as this. Thank you.

it's not in the complexity of the chords, but how you use them that makes you a true musician

Hi Cryosithify, I didn't write this (as it's an old hymn). I just arranged this version. Thanks for the compliment though!

Those that perform piano like you so nicely accomplish, has their finger print, so-t- speak in every piano arrangement that they do, which has to do with how they have been taught, or have the ability to listen and immitate, but make it theirs because of what they have developed into in their finger print performance.
When I taught my studies to students, I wanted them to develop their own finger print, too, not to just sound like their teacher.
Very nicely presented, with God's Spirit flowing through you. I was taught well with continued education of 6 years with a European Concert Pianist, and especially after those last 6 years of study, my mind, heart, soul, was open even more to letting God flow through me, so much to the point, that all I presented came from God's design for that song. Some of my arrangements, I would have to study them again to perform them like I recorded them, which I knew came directly from God...lol...just playing it one time for a recording. Don't quite studying, just because you really are great in your performance.
I'm now studying a theory that goes beyond even taught in universities and I'm 74. The design is like a high math problem, that makes a design in playing the piano, that has to come from God for sure...beyond the norm'.

Thank you! This is using the Steinway. I rarely use the C7 or Bösendorf as I think the Steinway and Italian samples are superior.

This sounds a lot like a track off a Final Fantasy game called To Zanarkand.
That part at 0:42 has the same chords and keys I believe.
    Beautiful regardless.

Man your playing sure is smooth. You must have been playing since you were born. Do you practice much? Did you take lessons or did you train yourself. It is very nice. Thanks for sharing!

Ha ha! You think the studio is messy? You should see the other side of the room! Actually, I am so blessed to have a wife who is totally supportive of my music and forgives me (eventually) for the money I spend on equipment and the time I spend writing, practicing, recording, etc. So funny you would wonder about that!

Your a bit arogant with your piano. This song is such a great one.. if you just dropped the attitude you will feel the real emotion that this song evokes.
