Anybody know why he hasn't gotten more commercial exposure? Is it by choice. The dude CAN SING. There's a handful of artists who I hear constantly on the radio these days who is not even on Jordan's level
He got some commercial exposure with his first solo album around 1999/2000. His first single was a hit but after that he didn’t have any successful songs. Since getting back with NKOTB he hasn’t really made anymore solo albums.
He went solo about a decade too late. Aged out by the time he went solo (labels promote younger artists, and younger general public want to invest in people their age), and his one hit was during the Y2K Teen Pop era, where he was seen as a nostalgic figure to compare to the current artists, but wasn't foundational for him or Joey to have sustainable solo careers.
