    Thank you so much!!! I've been struggling to do it in the round, but with your nice and neat illustration and when you said if it has 4 branches then it's a 2 puff stitches, if it has 5 you can do 3 puff stitches, you made my day!!
    Working with bulky yarn I ended up not yarning over in between clusters (different puffs)
    Anyway, thanks a lot!!!

    That is more complex than I anticipated. Your use of the diagram, details and lots of repetition help a lot. Thank you.

    I found your channel as an accident, well I must say: As a beautiful and wonderful opportunity!! I did this stich long ago but never in a round way!. I learned this with the name of jasmine stitch but, I guess that the name "Flower of Life" sounds better and prettier. Thanks a lot for sharing. I subscribe inmediately.

    Very Pretty. Tha k you.
    I’m always most interested I.
    What size is your hook?
    What yarn are you using.
    That’s everything. With the wrong supplies it looks a mess.
    Will you please share.
    That hook looks tiny 2.0.
    But you can’t know from a video. The yarn looks fine.
    Thank you

    What if I don't want to make more increases and keep continuing for a round purse??

    • @tanglingyarn
      @tanglingyarn  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can do any kind of shape using this stich. If you stop increasing you can start the round with a set of two, make sets of three around and end the row with a set of four like at the end of this video: th-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=OolRj6bGnE8. if you don't want it to bend softly but rather have a kind of edge you would have to work inbetween the puffs like in the beginning this video: th-cam.com/video/8ScQ41TDMsw/w-d-xo.html check out my channel to get a glimpse of what can be done :) (click on my picture to get there)... there is way more that can be done :) it might help bring your own ideas to life :)

    Your video helped me learn the basic stitch. Thank you. The successive rows are very confusing. Your hands cover the work and it’s impossible to understand what you mean. The diagram, while pretty, is also unclear about when to stitch what. Counting puffs is confusing.

    I love this stitch but very hard to understand. I have made 4 of these with 4 rounds and they are coming out with 4 sides with 4 stitches and 1 with 3 and 1 with 5. What am I doing wrong? I have watched this many times and written down each stitch. Even followed you one time. Still the same. Please help.

    • @tanglingyarn
      @tanglingyarn  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If working in rounds is too confusing, you could just work rows and get the same (or hopefully better) result.
      If you do rows instead of rounds, you have to know how big you want your hexagon to be in the end. so if you want it to be 4 stitches on each side, you start out with a base chain of four. and than you do as in this video th-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=YznmqS2Elpo (but of course you have to do four rows of increasing and 4 rows of decreasing).
      after 4 rows you could still switch to doing rounds.
      If you only want to do rounds, make sure you really always work the set of two in the Corners. put in a stitchmarker in each corner from the very beginning.
      hope this will help :)

      @@tanglingyarnHello! Im trying to make a hat in rounds. What do you mean when you say ''make a tube''? Is it like when you are making a hat in rows...2 puffs, 3 puffs all around and end with 4 puffs? Thank you!
