Never heard of Melty Blood till this release - The UK's kinda dead for titles of this nature. I dropped off FGs after VF4:Evo, until Skull Girls came out - and I was late to the party on that. Haven't picked a main yet, but I hope I can get involved with this in the near future - game's fucking sick.
@@raydeh96 I've settled on Acrueid for now I learned the game with her, so I'll chill for a bit. Saber was my most challenging opponent in Story mode, so chose her as a training partner - max cpu level etc. Got a few combos down now - feeling pretty good. Need to learn to stay on the ground though - too easy to wind up in an aerial battle, and most of her specials are ground-based...
Can you just pull up to this arcade whenever and play casuals? I’ve been into fighting games for years but have never really taken the step to finding new people to play casuals with and I’d love to.
Don't know how it works for theirs specifically but the locals I've gone to have some room booked for a few hours once or twice a week where people play games together.

@@Terumimi Well, she does have nasty gimmicks with her rings and command grabs, but that relies more on opponents messing up than Red Arc doing it right. Even in the video you can see how she struggles to hit confirm even from 2A, while lot of characters can combo out from a potato
@@NameGaming what makes you say that, i feel shes pretty good. on;y thing is that her pressure doesnt seem to overwhelming like most characters but she has to overheads into combo, good neuch. i feel her safe jumps and oki is kinda wack because her airgrabs puts her down on the ground so they want you to go for meaties ig
@@jadenpalma277 you can’t forget about the keys which causes a knockdown and she can confirm it or she can just keep building pressure she also has reset oki which is insane so I think they gave her not so well air buttons but gave her hella good buttons on the ground and she literally has an anti air

I agree. I like the game a lot like the commentator probably does but he really should just let the gameplay speak for itself instead of acting so pressed over twitter comments.

Thing is too, those people he was mocking/annoyed by, are the ones that are way less likely to actually be watching the tourney, and if they are/were, they probably weren't for long after that. So it just comes off as venting for no reason, and in some cases hurting the game's image.

Imagine waiting for an update to your favorite fighting game for a decade, and most talk of it outside of your community makes your game look uninteresting. Even most content on youtube singing the praises of this game leading up to it's release has been about responding to all those opinions. So if it's not people who don't understand your game, insulting it, it's people you do know, that like your game, that are responding to those insults. This has basically been the news feed for our community for the past half year. FOX is a great melty player and has been in the melty community for a longer than a decade, this new game means a lot to him. He's tired on top of that. You can expect him to let it go when everyone finally decides whether or not they'll play it, and stop talking about the game outside of it's gameplay.
The crowd shouting "Fight back!" every time someone gets pressured by the twin maids is a thing of beauty. I love it.
Also the guy shouting "¡Ayudame!" during the same match.
