Although Keran's mom doesn't support her doing this career, I'm sure she still keeps a lookout for Keran, she just isn't the type of parent to show much affection towards her daughter I guess. I hope people will stop assuming that her mom has "disowned her" or "hasn't talked to her in years" because the word "disown" is very serious (it means completely cut ties) and this is totally untrue at all. During Keran's V live she mentioned that she and her mom had facetimed each other on her birthday last year while she was in Korea so yea from what I see I think Keran's parents just need to show more affection and emotional support towards their daughter because that's what Keran seems to really need 😔

Lu Keran and Liu Xin have been trying to prove to their parents and others about their pathway. I’m so sad whenever hearing about how their parents expect them this and that even though it’s not what they truly want to pursue. But fortunately Xin Liu’s parents are really supportive toward her.

I can relate to her so much. I have a falling out with my mom for so Manu years cuz I didn't do what she wants me to do (work in the office with a stable job) until the start of last year when I broke up with my boyfriend whom she didn't approve as well. We even fought so hard during that time I went out of the house and slept on the street. It was such a dark time for me, But what I realized is moms will tend to soften once you show them you're serious with the way you want to lead your life. They'd realize they can't do anything about as long as you stay focused. My mom and I are still not on the best terms right now but we're both reaching out to each other, her finally giving me support to what I want to do little by little. Someday, when Keran achieves her goals which I'm praying she would, she needs to reach out to her mom as well. So, hang in there baby. Everything will be alright and I'm sure you're mom will be so proud of you someday~
