Ernest beautiful video of private and military avaition, very nice acrobatics to planespot and a great location seems like you had fewer planespotters than usual. All the familiar planes were there.Love you video work, keep up the hard work. Catch you on the next flight.
Thanks Ernest for doing this, I notice that today(Saturday ) air show day 1, the CF18 was solo and in grey colours, but the announcers kept reading out that is was in 100 RCAF livery, obviously some sort of mechanical? Issue with the blue and white 100 anniversary CF18 Dont know, Also a snowbird was held out as well and half way thru their show one left and didn’t return. ,
I was there too! CF-18 must've had mechanical issues. I had a scanner on me and heard that something happened mechanically to one of the snowbirds, so they terminated the next maneuver and he landed at CYLS.
Thanks for watching! Yes, the CF-18 demo bird sustained some landing gear issue and was pretty much grounded the whole weekend in Simcoe. She got fixed by Sunday evening and flew back to base in Bagotville. As for the Snowbirds, not exactly sure what malfunction but something did happen and one of the jets returned to Simcoe shortly afterwards.
@@ErnestGutschikAviation THE SOPWITH TUDOR In March they shut down all 419 Sqn Air/Ops....and sent the 18- brand spanking shiny 24-year-old CT-155 BAE Hawk trainers into a hanger at ''RCAF Trenton.'' to collect bunnies.....100th Anny? 👀...Yeah Think?🦧........🤔 🦧
@@ErnestGutschikAviation ''Sopwith Tutors'' Awaa! As you know 419 Sqn ceased all air/ops last summer. Their 18 ''brand spankin' 24-year-old CT-155 BAE Hawks have been sitting in a hanger at 'RCAF Trenton' collecting bunnies.... Yeah think...maybe ahh... for the 100th anny🤔
The CF-18 graphic in upper right hand corner of screen is distracting. Looks too much like real aircraft flying in the distance. Better if it wasn't an aircraft, or better yet delete it or move to bottom of screen.
Depends how you look at it. For me and others, we don’t find it an issue at all but something I may look at changing up in the future. Appreciate the input.
Exceptional filming Ernest 👍
Thanks Ken!
Amazing video man!
Thank you Jelmer! 😎

Thanks a lot Chris!
Seems like at least a few mechanical problems over the weekend. Great video. Thank for sharing.
Thanks. Yup, a few indeed.
Good job! Thank you. 👋
Thanks for watching :)

Great spot to watch arrivals from, minus the constant dump trucks
Sure is! Ah, they gotta work too ;)
This is the equivalent of watching Sopwith Camels represent the nation in the 1970s.
Love this comment 😂😂😂
