    Very cool! I never would have thought about using parchment paper but it works beautifully!

    I feel like we decorate cake with the same exact thought process. I've never seen a cake tutorial that I've resonated so much with. You think of everything! I'm also asked all the time how I make my cakes so smooth. How funny!

    Another great video! Just wondering how much buttercream you make to cover a cake?

      Thank you!! For a 6" cake I use about 2 cups for the crumb coat and another 1 or 1 1/2 cups for the final coat. This would use a little more, probably another 1/2 cup, for the extra layer of frosting around the bottom

      Thanks! and your English is amazing! I used parchment paper, which is a non-stick greaseproof paper used to line baking trays or baking pans to prevent things from sticking :)

    Hi! Is it possible to use natural fruits (for their color) instead of food color? 😅

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've used simmered, blended berries to make purple and pink frosting but it won't be as bright as with food colouring. I think you can buy natural colours though!

    How would make on top if I was to use an offset spatula?
