Qasimi even if exo was there, i think they should be able to give fair time to each group, i mean, if they can do it before (previous mama esp during 2nd gen) they should be able to do that now also. But since not many big groups didnt attend mama, thats why bts got long performance time (plus they are wildly popular locally and oversea so i see why mama n others do that). Personally, i think since sm n yg (where most big groups come from) and several other groups didnt attend mama and also the year end awards, this can be an opportunity for others to be invited. i honestly dont understand why they didn't invite other groups to fill the hole. I mean, of course its all about rating but imagine some of them never been to those award shows and year end shows (which is kinda pity :/). Truthfully im shocked that gidle was only invited to one of the year end show when i think they're doing quite well 🤔. 1) WayV isn't under SM for promotion. They are under LabelV.
2) WayV can't be officially linked to Korea/SM/NCT because of political tensions
3) SM mainly target korean audience (and international Kpop fans )......so SM will promote their group that target the korean audience and Kpop fans.
But I do think LABELV can do much more for them if they wanted. WayV should do more chinese shows or Cdramas to incresase their chinese fandoms.

I was shocked by how talented Chinese artists are 😲 I never knew the Chinese were such great entertainers. (not being racist just didn’t think the Chinese were big on performing arts as I’m from Hong Kong and singing dancing etc is not big here & I’ve barely seen any good dancers here) when I finally watched idol producer, I was pleasantly surprised to see so much talent and good music that could top kpop and somehow felt less manufactured. I used to not find Chinese songs that appealing but damnn these pop songs are just as satisfying as k-pop and the idols are just as funny, entertaining & somehow they felt more good natured to me 💕 I guess k-pop is more original but C-pop artists are just as talented or even more. Not into C-pop but I think there is a lot of potential

My two cents on WayV at MAMA 2019:
1. They TRULY deserve the Best New Asian Artist Award. Kudos to WayV!
2. They slayed this performance like it's their own concert. I'm proud of where they are now and how they are continuously growing and improving. These men deserve all the love and admiration.

No backup dancer, no extravagant props just 7 boys and they ROCK the stage. The transition between Moonwalk and Take Off is so smooth. I am so proud of them. Wayv is the only reason I watch MAMA after these 3 years. I patiently waited for their red carpet appearance and performance. It was worth it. Ten tho. smol baby but look how he ate this perf. 💯💯

it's amazing how Xiaojun, YangYang and Hendery did it so well, I mean, Lucas, Ten and Winwin have been doing this for more time then the others but they did it so well that you can't say who has less experience on stage. WayV work so hard to this and everything they do, they deserve SO MUCH. WayV we love u guys, stay healthy.
yangyang was a street dance performer before SM but yeah they are outstanding especially Xiaojun for me. he does every aspect perfectly and professionally. It isn't his goal to stand out, but damn he really stands out. Yangyang too.

People criticizing Wayv because they were the only Chinese group present at MAMA, well just accept the fact that they performed even better than some of the Korean groups. SM for once made a good decision making this group full of Chinese people so we can enjoy listening to their amazing works.

A Chinese group and a China group is different. China is for people from China, Chinese is indicated for any race but as long as they can sing/speak chinese, they can get in.

When I watched him perform, I had a really weird thought cross my mind. I wondered what he would do if a frog hopped on stage while he performed. Would he freak out and stop performing, or would he try to keep performing but physically distance himself from the frog?

@@helinaltin A phobia is an irrational fear, which is why I pondered his reaction if he came across his biggest fear while having to perform. For normal fears, you would do your best to still perform. But for a phobia, it would be impossible.
