Kind of a random comment but ive always thought that danielle's parents are a great example for divorced couples. They seem to get along great and make an effort to coparent their children. It just makes me happy. (If they are not actually divorced and im just confused this will be embarassing lol).
it's also about the experiences, experiencing being a freshman in college in dorms meeting people from all over living by yourself together ! its sooo different to living in your own apartment. I've done both and couldn't imagine not living my first year in dorms
well she should have just sucked it up and stayed in the dorm her first year bc it's evident she stays in her apartment more than her dorm... like why waste that money. her dorm is huge she could have filmed there.
At every state college you are required to live in the dorms for the first year (sometimes the second too) if you live outside of a certain radius of the school. She's living in both because she's paying for both. The dorm is just as if not more expensive than the apartment. This should be common knowledge lmao you get your friends living in the dorms and the experience is one that you can't get in an apartment if you choose to never live in the dorms.
I wonder if it's just a Southern College Dorm thing because I went to Texas A&M and both my dorm and apartment off campus look exactly like Danielle's lol. It's deja vu watching this video!
Maybe! I'm at UNC Wilmington, my dorm looked different but all of the off-campus apartments I've had have had these exact cabinets (down to the knobs) and the same furniture...the only thing different has been the finishes on the appliances. 😂

If you look at her Instagram posts and stories you will see that she spends a majority of her time in her apartment...essentially she either got the dorm because she was required or so she could act like she's a normal college student and still get that college experience. In addition I never really got the whole 'the dorm rooms are so small' Tasha Farsaci, Gretchen Geraghty, and a ton of other youtubers film in their dorm and they've been fine so like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Not trying to be a brat just trying to be realistic
there's a difference between privileged and working hard and using your money on whatever you want. I do agree that it's a bit much to have both an apartment and a dorm, but you're just throwing the word around at this point lmao

But why would you get and apartment that big for just recording? That is a lot of money. Getting an apartment like that when u don’t really need it and just for fun proves it.

MaCall George that's pretty standard for a lot of the colleges here in Georgia. The only freshman that are allowed to live off campus at UGA are kids from Athens due to one of the dorms being under construction.

no hate whatsoever apt is beautiful but a lot of the “colleges require you to live on campus first year” is more of a money scam and concrete showing of care for the acclimation of new students for the colleges like you need to pay room and board but the college is not monitoring anyone’s living sitch that closely

I received a tool box like that for graduation (a cute pink one) and honestly it didn't become helpful until I moved into an apartment, since you won't be hanging things by nails on your dorm walls. But since you have an apartment as well, I think it'll come in handy!! All I really use is the screwdrivers :) Good luck this year girl!! College is awesome
Not at all. 20 years ago I did the same thing and it happens more than you know. My parents got an apartment near campus and I stayed at least 3 times a week to study in peace, laundry in my apartment and placed dorm room storage at the end of each year. It happens way more than many know.
