I understand what you are saying my dear sister but I have to contribute something: A man that will pull away after sex before marriage will also do so after marriage. Why is it on women always to maintain a guys attention after they both equally slept together? A jerk of a man will always be a jerk. A lot of women put undue blame and responsibility for something two people did and the man goes unquestioned, I’ve even seen this among two christians, where the woman is shamed and blamed and questioned after the relationship ends or the man cheats and the man is thought to be doing “what’s in his nature”. Waiting to have sex is a good thing, it helps us to honour God with our bodies. There are men that have slept with their girls and have gone on to marry them and they have a successful marriage. There are men that have slept with women for 5 plus years and stayed and was a good husband. There are women that have kept themselves and not slept with their men and the men still cheat. Let’s stop putting the responsibility on women and let it be the reason for waiting is not to keep a man but to honour God because you can do the right thing and the man still leaves. A man who leaves after sex says more about himself and his character than it does about the woman and if that’s his character, he is not a prize worth keeping. It’s good to keep yourself so you can honour God and you can protect your heart but that should be the primary reason why we wait till marriage. I believe this applies more to those who have sex before or outside marriage....its because the spirit pushing for such sex is the spirit of lust who wants pleasure without responsibility, it wants the sex but no commitment....its the same reason those guys reject pregnancy when the lady tells him she is pregnant....love takes responsibility, responsibility and commitment is a burden for lust
Another take if I may add is that, allowing sex before marriage especially with a Christian man reduces your value in his eyes, and makes him lose trust in your ability to stay faithful to him if they are chances or temptations for the lady to have sex with other men sometimes later in the future
I disagree with you sir. I know of three people but I will talk about one here. He got married to this particular lady as a VIRGIN, after some months he started requesting for divorce. He said he is no more sexually attracted to her anymore, then he left and started looking for another woman. But till now the man hasn't settled down.
