As people said earlier, nothing new - but the way it is made, is fire!! Absolutely magical: heavy, inventive, fast. Also, I feel so heard, because of how I have just written a comment ~two weeks ago, that I liked the circle of dust- helldweller remix by drumcorps, now checked the channel - and Voilà now I am listening to this banger!!! Sadly, I don't understand original drumcorps music :( It's like toooo inventive - almost so that it feels lacking structure? I just don't get the idea, so much going on. (P.S. Apparently, I am just too lazy to listen to it with attention :) Will keep trying) ...But when the theme is familiar - I am really-really into it And I have a feeling, drumcorps can REALLY boost other themes, which are not already dynamic...I am so-so sorry... but I imagine soul parasites with those glitches, because drop vocals (chorus) are lengthy and plain there (IMHO), when the theme is supposed to be and IS dynamic... It's just the first thing that came to mind when visualizing new remixes, don't know how trustworthy am I. I like the drums in soul parasites as it is, just thought drumcorps could make a candy out of this song, mainly by enhancing vocal parts with those glitches.
zacrobyte, have said it lacks flow and rhythm... I can recall the flow from the original track, so ppfffft, The flow is kinda in my mind... And yes drumcorps is too much into music haha ;) Like glitches are like very good accents, but they shouldn't interrupt the flow. zacrobyte has a point, but he is too radical in my opinion. I count these repetitive stickings as an element of style. Iam tryin just to accept it
I don't know what just happened. It felt to me like a troll song. idk. In my opinion: too much glitches, weird structure and couldn't enjoy it. I'm open to remixes (I do remixes myself) and even the most different, the ones that goes completely away to the originals can be surprisingly good. But not this one. Btw I love the idea of a Celldweller remixed album- it's been 20 years since release!
