Hello. Congratulations for your wonderful channel. Can you please tell me the name of the package which contains the node exporting lists to excel respecting the visual format? (I couldn't catch the name correctly on the video, sorry). Thank you.
Amazing presentation style, Could you share us this script, because of taking long time and strong thing for me that both by the time I'm encoding step by step on this screen and following this movie ?
Hi Joshua. I would recommend exporting existing data to excel based on element GUID's and applying phasing data or construction information to these back in Dynamo via Excel using 'set parameter' nodes. From there a program like Navisworks (search sets) or Revit (filters) can manage the visibility controls.
How do we deal with Select Elements from Revit? Even when it is marked as a input it won't show up in Dynamo player as a input? If I run the script manually in Dynamo I can only select my clicking and dragging. As soon I try and select elements by selecting the document and tab clicking on runs of duct it selects nothing?
Hello. Thank you for this video. Its very helpful! I was wondering if you have a tutorial for the Build Data part. Its fairly simple but i can not get it to work, i have some list depth problems and i cant understand in which ammount your lists are flattened. Any help would be welcome :) Thank you in advance!
This is a tutorial I made a bit later where I show how to export/import and match data to elements using their Id, might be of use: th-cam.com/video/pFT5vejNzqU/w-d-xo.html The actual scripts I used here I don't have a copy of anymore unfortunately - and they were probably quite messy anyway!
Hi there! In this example script the bumblebee nodes are on the end at 2:36 to generate the excel export data. I have another video showing how to do this on my channel in detail here: th-cam.com/video/0JbyELxqwSw/w-d-xo.html
@@AussieBIMGuru And do you know if they work in Dynamo 2.3.0? I've tried to use this archilab node but it got stuck and I had to close the dynamo and the revit...
@@tiagofrbr they should, but you may need to check if your windows updates are correct, i know excel had trouble with the last one and needed a repair for lots of people.
Gud one.. In revit 2017 if I close the dynamo browser... I am unable to open dynamo player.. And if I open dynamo player first I am unable to the run the script which need packages.. Do help me on this.. Thanks in advance

Thanka Badi! The package is called 'Bumblebee', it's managed by Konrad Sobon (who also makes archilab).

Hi do you know how I can use dynamo to control revit visibility or etc. using excel for construction progress thanks.

so good

The Select Model Element(s) nodes should definitely work as an Input, as long as you right click them in Dynamo and tick on 'Is Input'.

Hi! At which part of the dynamo script did you add the bumblebee customization for your sheets?

I think dynamo is unsupoorted in that version now so wont work as well. Try installing version 2.0.3 and uninstalling version 1.
If people using Revit 2017 want to use Dyanmo player they need to make script on Dynamo 1.x +
Thanks Sujan, right you are.
I hope most of us are able to use later builds but I know some projects need to remain in lower builds sometimes
