      Thanks @Goran2551 it sounded great! And absolutely, it's not a concours car, but it is great shape for a restored car that someone plans on driving. The color combination looks great in person, sounded pretty bad on paper but turned out looking great. Thanks for the compliments!

    even some of the best restored cars will have a some body filler in a few places and others will be caked in it lol always do your homework when looking to buy a classic car.

    Back in my day we used a magnet

      Hey @johnbelmore1178 thanks for tuning in. Magnets still work well! I only use the filler tool and paint meter to have numbers to put on paper as a point of reference to compare to other vehicles I'll find as comparable examples and explain what is an acceptable amount of filler versus what is not.

    Why order a brown interior?

      @DanielAutoValueGuy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Peter! It was ordered from the factory with Ginger interior (this light reddish brown color) it looked much better in person than I thought it would, the only thing I would have liked to see was a 4 speed transmission. But it was a phenomenal car to drive and access.

      @@DanielAutoValueGuy yes I agree with 4 speed but a black interior would have blended with the black bonnet and the pewter exterior colour all the way!

    Nice car. It is surprising the radio has 0 functionality to it.

      It was pretty nice! And unfortunately its one of the most overlooked items on 1960s muscle cars I perform pre-purchase inspections on. Functionality wise a lot of people will swap in a blue tooth radio with a factory looking front plate or hookup Bluetooth wiring to the existing factory radio. Thanks for tuning in!

    How much was it appraised at?

    • @DanielAutoValueGuy
      @DanielAutoValueGuy  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Eric, it appraised very close to the dealer asking price at $87,000. Very solid for a nice restoration, although it wouldn't be in the category of concours restoration, and appropriately the price reflects that. Let me know if you have any other questions! Hopefully I'll have more driving videos of some other big block muscle cars for you all soon!

      @@Goran2551 me too! XB Falcon is on the list, although I'll likely never see one stateside. I'll have to get really lucky or know the right person. Thanks for tuning in!

    Cool car but not a big fan of 71 . Why build the Mustang on the Torino platform then not run it in NASCAR.
