This review of the THE MURDER OF NICOLE BROWN SIMPSON is the funniest I have seen so far.
But something jumped out at me around 20:30--that in 1994 "the spirit" of Charles Manson was telling the drifter to kill. If I'm not mistaken, Charles Manson died in 2017. Is the movie suggesting Charles Manson was communicating AS A GHOST with the drifter or communicating thru telepathy in 1994, all the way from jail? Because if so, that's STUPID AF.
EDIT: Seems the movie is saying the drifter is POSSESSED by Charles Manson. Stupider than I thought.

THOST was an exploitative, trashy, terribly written and horribly acted movie which tries to weave in a supernatural element into its story half heartedly.
Whereas you has Once upon a time in hollywood which is a thought provoking what if tale which deconstructs the last years of the golden age of hoolywood and celebrates the life of Sharon tate instead of using her death as a way to tell a rubbish horror movie.
The ending of OUATIH is more satisfying than THOST because there is actual consideration and admiration paid toward sharon to not inadvertently have her be the victim or the major player in the final showdown.
The ending becomes more plausible and entertaining because it does not exploit such a tragic event by being predictable but instead has Cliff booth a former green beret annihilating hippie murderers in brutal tarantino fashion.
While once upon a time in hollywood actually had substance and care put into it, THOST is one of the most contrived, by the numbers and unscary horror movies i have had the displeasure of watching and a waste of everybodys netflix time.
Also much love from England, been watching since the Spill days when i wad very young.

So I'm reading IF I DID IT after OJ's death, and it turns out "Charlie" is the name that OJ agreed to give to the book's ghostwriter for the hypothetical "second assailant" that OJ was "hypothetically" suggesting to have helped him with the murder, since OJ wasn't copping to the murders directly. So to know the director likely used that research to justify that Charlie Manson plotline bullshit makes this movie even more ridiculous. Thank God this director has seemingly stopped making this shit--or at the very least, not getting press for it anymore.

When the director did an interview for the Haunting of Sharon Tate, he said that he felt a kindred spirit with Sharon Tate and the murders because his mom was pregnant with him at the time. I. Am. Not. Fucking. Joking.

I was watching some show about serial killers and this guy was in it. He confessed to this murder. He said he was doing construction work on her home. He said OJ paid him to kill her...or steal some earrings. I don’t remember anymore. His family believes him ( considering he was a serial killer) but authorities don’t. Didn’t have any idea somebody made a movie about this. I thought it was like myself and maybe 3 other people who even knew about this man and his confession.

He's not shown to be possessed by Manson in the film - that was a theory put out by Katie Rife of the AV Club who didn't seem to know that Manson wasn't dead in 1994. "Charlie" comes from O.J.'s book "IF I DID IT", where he claims a friend of his named "Charlie" accompanied him to the murders.

You know this could have been good biopic in which everyone is the unreliable narrator in Nicole Brown's story as she's no longer here to tell us what really happened we have to rely on people who knew her. But that doesn't sound that is what this movie is aspiring to be, if it's aspiring to be anything at all.
