I have a question. Didn't Muhammad/the Qur'an repeatedly say the most important moral standard is praising and worship Allah. That's what each chapter seems to be about. I'm curious if the Aga Khan talks much about Allah because Allah talks about Himself A LOT, how worthy of praise He is. Allah self-praises Himself and expects us to recognize this and His greatness and mercy, so that we do not end up in a bad place. Because it's all about Him and our eternal future. This is the Islam I know. That only Allah is worth focusing on this much, and only He can guide us into safe pasture at the end of times. I ask because, I wonder why anyone might join Ismailism if it's not primarily about God, His salvation, and the Quran and afterlife. Because we die at any time, this world doesn't matter--our eternal stance with God matters infinitely times more than our stance with the world.
