Providence teen charged with multiple firearms offenses after police raid

A 17-year-old boy from Providence is facing several charges after police seized a firearm.
Investigators said the boy was commonly in possession of a firearm, described as a "5.7" with a laser attachment and blue-tip ammunition.

That's not a 2 thousand dollar gun. JFC, they cost about $1000 and have for the last 15 years. I have one., its no more dangerous than any other handgun. This report is utterly full of BS. Those rounds are not meant for a rifle and they will not go through body armor unless you are wearing body armor for airsoft. The NE is just plain ignorant.

Can only go through a bullet oroof vest with green tip, which civilians cant buy, only law enforcement and military gave access to it, not to say simine can sell it illegally,but the green tips are harder to get then the gun
